Nose of fermented grains, apple cider, and some aldehyde. Taste of some brown sugar, toffee notes, especially after stirring the sip with tongue, tea and baked apple flavor, hotness from alcohol, hint of smoky oaks, milk chocolate, dried figs, and mango. Aftertaste is some warmth in the throat, dried mango, a hint of zest, and a bit peaty. The flavors are bold but well structured at the same time. You won't be disappointed as she offers a mix of different flavors compared with bourbon and most of the Irish whisky. — 9 years ago
A chance to compare again with proper notes. Aromas of maple syrup and honey. The Sherry sweetness comes through, with a toasty, nutty character on top of the grape. Very nice. — 2 years ago

Cotes de Catalan red with Guinea Fowl at Spring. Excellent fruit, not the graininess I can find in Grenache/Carignan reds at times. — 2 years ago
Sour fruit and touch of herbal pepper note. Good easy drinking lunch wine — 3 years ago
Ou la la grand potentiel! Il commence à peine à s’ouvrir. On est sur les fruits rouges type mûre avec de la fraîcheur en finale qui rend le vin très digeste. La prochaine dans 5 ans... — 8 years ago

Always love this wine. So complete and balanced, especially in cooler vintages. Welcoming nose of dark fruits, some funky stable and of course garique. Fresh palate with laurel, leather and some bitters. This can age gracefully. — 9 months ago
