Unique. Aromatic. Funky. Bitter orange. Dry and light to medium in body. — 6 years ago
Wonderful Tannat. Very smooth. Awesome without food. So sad this vintage is sold out right now — 6 years ago
Can smell the oak. Dry with hints of cherry. Strong goes down smooth, the taste lingers. — 7 years ago
The wine offers a light, golden hue and the aromas we want with the Albarino grape. The honeysuckle is right up front, followed closely by pineapple and tangerine. An earthy note shows on the palate, a minerality that goes far beyond citrus zest. There’s a bright acidity that will support a Cobb salad or chicken breast just as well as it does a handful of walnuts. — 8 years ago
My first Uruguay wine and I really enjoy this. A little musty on the nose and light, airy, and balanced on palate. Consistent and balance finish. Great value for a $15 wine. — 8 years ago
Unique dessert wine. Nose of vanilla, taste of chocolate. — 9 years ago

A bit tough to get the aromas with all the bbq smoke in the air, but dark fruit and plummy. Richness on the pallet and tannins dance with spice. Smooth body and leaves pallet chalky like a cab. Nice Uruguayan wine! — 8 years ago
Wonderful balance. Merlot and Tempranillo counterweight the heavy Tanat. Still, a meaty wine for read meats. Velvety and round tho. Some blackberries and forest fruits - little tanine. — 8 years ago
Velvety smooth, huge balanced tannins and fruit forward. — 8 years ago
I LOVE aglianico. Slightly obsessed. Earth and tannins. — 9 years ago

Smooth and flavorful. Blue fruit. Not sweet — 5 years ago
Great red from Uruguay. Big black fruit aromas. Full and ripe fruit flavors of blackberries and plums. Big note of juniper berries. Hints of herbs and just the right amount of oak. Rich and velvety texture. Did not have the big tannin structure I was expecting. Blending in 30% Merlot is a great move. Really softened the big Tennat tannin reputation. Outstanding vino! — 6 years ago

Merlot Tannat marselan and petition Verdot in a great balance for home made ravioli with filetto or any other strong sauce. — 8 years ago
Any wine that can shine from a plastic cup deserves extra kudos. Mistook for a Northern nebbiolo with its structure, detail, & balance, but the fruit is pure southern, pomegranate & black currants. Eye opener (esp for 30$ list). Want to re taste in proper stemware. I think 80% nero di trioa 20% montulpiciano — 8 years ago
A wonderfully "different" torrentes from Uraguay. $15 but worth it. — 11 years ago
