Sick Syrah. Smoke, black pepper, bacon fat, lovely dark fruit. Perfect medium minus body, only 13.6abv. Would have mistaken it for a St Joseph or Cornas. Beautiful. The best positive, comparative and superlative adjectives to describe the mouthfeel are smooth, smoother and smoothest. The unctuous mouth is flooded with all the sweetest and ripest dark fruit flavors imaginable. The finish is very long, rich and creamy with even more fruit and spice on the aftertaste.
