Saw this “Appassimento-Style” Barbera on the wine list and had to try it. Medium ruby color. Aromas and flavors of cooked blackberries, violets, black figs and nuts. Touch of vanilla on the finish. Quite full bodied and bold. Hint of RS on the long finish. Extremely fruit forward but also somewhat interesting. — 7 months ago

Dark red cherry in color, medium bodied, smells like tobacco and dark ripe red fruit. Tastes like tart ripe cherries, dried apricot, tobacco, nicely rounded acidity. Really great. — 2 years ago

The color of red velvet and just as smooth. Stone fruit and mineral. Smells like cherries if you slosh it around. Chalky finish, dry but rich. — 5 months ago
