This is proper NZ SB. Absolutely love it once the worst chill left the glass. Distinct flint on the nose, followed by gooseberry, grapefruit, grass and (I'm not mad) nuts & boiled potatoes. A lovely mouthful with a long lasting finish. Paid a shade over £20 but happy that its better value than the Greywacke (2015) that I tried beside at £18. My new favourite NZ Sauvingnon Blanc. — 10 years ago
Good rich flavor, not overpowering sweetness. Strong berry flavors, not alcoholy tasting at all. One of the better MN wines. — 10 years ago
1995 Dom. Laurent NSG Les Vaucrains - The wine is showing beautifully. Still a bunch of primary notes, harmoniously integrated with some secondary tones. — 11 years ago
Peppercorn, loamy earth and limestone meet plum on the nose. More black cherry than red, with a strong mid palate that transitions effortlessly to an elevated, almost floral (purple flowers) finish. Tannins are well integrated at this point. Enjoyed following 3 hr decant. — 11 years ago

I would usually hate this style but this is fantastic! — 10 years ago
Great wine for everyday drinking. Good body and fruit. Pairs nicely with so much. — 10 years ago
18- 1999. Robust, still some tannin, rich Pinot nose, young appearance, good fruit. Not subtle! — 10 years ago
Best red I have had in a longtime — 12 years ago
This is made by Peter Story but will be Aaron Pott in the future — 13 years ago
Good cider — 10 years ago
So I bought this at WFM to make a pork and cider stew and my lord, what a nice surprise. Needless to say I mashed an apple with whoite for that stew instead. Find it people. I rarely drink anything but bone dry cider — 10 years ago
Just wonderful — 11 years ago
Fantastic. Not your average Otago Pinot, but they turned consistently good into great. Light & bouncing with flavour. — 11 years ago
Thick and juicy, yummy — 12 years ago

Smells like the gauzy part of a band-aid caked with fresh-dried blood & hay. Totally into it. — 14 years ago

Because I needed something to drink while binging on wine documentaries. This is the new Divine Reserve, # 17 or DR17. It's a Baltic Porter that will make you weak in the knees. You'll swoon over the creamy chocolate malted espresso. — 9 years ago
