Last night at Regent Porto Montenegro on the balcony. Not as jammy as other Amarones — 6 years ago
Mayschoss Altenahr is said to be the oldest wine cooperation in the world, founded in 1868. This #liquorwine is made to commemorate this fact. Made from #regent grape, portstyle. #curious and lingering attractive. — 7 years ago

Pop and pour!
The colour is very dark opaque red, with a dark creamy purple on the edges.
Nose: Right after opening, clear Pinot Noir plus something bordeauesque on the nose (it is Pinot Noir and Regent). After half an hour in the bottle, the alcohol (13,5%) starts to show, along with a bit of graphite and citric zest. It smells like a Bordeaux now, only a very thin layer left that reminds me of Pinot Noir. Nose is not very intense now. Violets.
Palate: Medium+ body with plum and graphite. Tannins are mild and integrated.
Tannins stay the longest in the minute-long finish, next to dark fruit.
Seems like an extremely good value to me. And it doesn't seem too young. No idea as to how well this stores from now, but it's absolutely drinkable now. — 10 years ago
Surprising red from the Mosel! Senheim is near Cochem, but on the southern side of the river. Honest, nicely drinkable! — 11 years ago
One of our favorite reds. From the Leelanau Peninsula in Michigan. Got it as an anniversary gift from Mackenzie. — 12 years ago
Regent Biz Roundtable. VERY good Red. — 5 years ago
Blend van Pinot Noir, Regent en Dornfelder. Wat houtlagering geeft deze blend wel power. In combinatie met Parelhoen een verfijnd duet. — 6 years ago

Aged for 4 years. Lots of cranberries on the nose.Slight grassy/hay note on the back. Red cranberries flavor with a short finish. Paired with a spicy burger. — 6 years ago

A lager with malt and hops flavors. This one is really good! — 10 years ago
This is one of the rare sweet wines that I had while living in Germany. It has a very smooth taste going down, has a good flavor and there isn't any strong aftertaste when you drink it. Great wine to have with red meats. — 11 years ago

100% Regent. That weird, alluring and usually crappy red German grape. But Max, the genius, makes it shine. Huge, expansive nose. Like wow. Earthy. Giant berry fruit. Mostly black. Pastille. Huge perfume. Not subtle but awesome. Cherry cough syrup. This shit is wild. Like the name says. Palate is dynamite. Explosive red fruits and just awesome freshness. So pure and insane acidity matched with dark, rich blackberry fruit. Sappy and fresh. Wonderful minerality. So so long. Pure and balanced. Fantastic. — 5 years ago
