A favorite special red. 2011 blend 44% Cabernet Sauvignon 33% Merlot 16% Syrah 4% Malbec 3% Cabernet Franc. — 9 years ago
2013. Bordeaux replacement of Chard. 65% sauv blanc + 35% semillon. Sauv provides the grassy floral and pineapple notes while the semillon brings forward more body and character. Really cool stuff and I like the direction they took. Not overly Oakes at this stage. I want to see how this changes with age. — 7 years ago
2012 vintage. Wow...now this is a serious wine. Deep in dark fruit and terrior flavors and a fair share of tannins. This was pure heaven with a barbequed rib eye steak. Another of those wines that I keep on the shelf because they are bound to be wonderful when opened but I want to keep them as long as possible for slight aging. But I never buy enough soon enough before the sell out. Mark Ryan makes seriously wonderful wines and this is surely one of them. — 8 years ago

100 percent Syrah from Red Mountain. Delicious, light to medium bodied. Apparently hard to get distributed, but worth it! — 10 years ago

Bordeaux blend; 44% Cab Sauv, 33% Merlot with Syrah, Malbec, and Cab Franc. Dried red and black fruit, wild herbs, soft and well integrated tannins. Low alcohol for new world, but I like that. It's showing well but any more time and it will probably start to deteriorate. — 8 years ago
Old world style Syrah from Washington. A great surprise — 9 years ago
All red mountain fruit lovely intensity and elegant bouquet a bit of cf and merlot in the blend both red and black berry fruit with pretty floral notes with dark chocolate and sweet tobacco spice. Very lush and forward fruit here with a nice freshness not a big wine in color or size but had lots of nuance fresh earth and light spice notes this wine needs a bit of time but has all the right pieces in place. Finish 45+. Excellent milk chocolate notes — 10 years ago

Love red mountain and this vineyard. As you would expect; it's intense and deep... but in balance, so ready to satisfy impatience. Good value for the quality. — 7 years ago
