Golden yellow. There’s a lot of cooked apple on the nose, along with lychee nut, rose pedals, citrus peel, and a hint of Trident gum. Medium bodied with medium acidity and a slightly oily mouthfeel. Flavors of cooked apple, lychee nut, and canned pineapple. Finishes with a touch of heat and long lasting flavors of cooked apples and peppermint. Lively summer thirst quencher! — 8 years ago
Funky, almost sparkling — 6 years ago
Actually a rosé, not a merlot. Blend of cab and zweigelt. Cranberry, grapefruit, herbs, chestnut on finish. Really interesting, and especially delightful with these castelvetrano olives. — 6 years ago
Bright apricot, lemon zest. Great on this hot end of August day. — 7 years ago
Aromas lead off with fresh cedar, followed by black olive, and then cherries, milk chocolate, almonds, and mint. Medium bodied with a little chalky mouthfeel and soft tannin. Flavors of black cherries, blackberries, and black tea. It finishes with some heat and flavors of black cherries and cranberries. — 8 years ago
Very nice Paso Robles sourced red blend. Pleasant nose, complex on palate with just enough tannins to be bold but not overwhelming. Bonus is that portions of sales go to a pet rescue I. Honor of the winemakers former pet Kaley for whom the wine is named. — 5 years ago
