Ha. I was so ready, to give this more. I loved it so much but I was skeptical thinking maybe I should tone it down because I'm still kind of not completely behind myself since I haven't tasted the top of the top. Anyways, what you said was refreshing and confidence-giving. I shouldn't hold back.

Purposely taken with a Jaffurs glass. The salesman at Oxford Wine Co. said this is the closest we'd get to Condrieu in the £17/bottle range. This made me zoom back to Santa Barbara after one sniff. Everything Craig Jaffurs talked about snapped into place like a puzzle. Licorice, chive, pepper, honeysuckle and other white flowers. Some orange marmalade on nose and palate...completely consistent.
