Excelent wine for a primitivo. — 7 years ago
This is an amazing wine and it is one of my favorite ones to bring to dinners. It is robust tannic fairly big and opens very quickly. As a cousin to the zinfandel it shows as it is extremely drinkable despite it's large tannic quality. Elements of black fruit and pepper remind me of both the zinfandel and the Shiraz. Anyone familiar Shirah from the Rhone Valley should definitely give this one a try. The only thing I will say is that I enjoy it with friends and less you can finish the bottle by yourself. It dies fairly quickly. — 8 years ago

One of the best Primitivo wines we've had from the Puglia region — 6 years ago
Pale Crimson. Notes of Oxidative Varnish, Balsamic and Tar nuances. Damaged Label unfortunately. Bought this wine at Grande Vini in Alba in 2015. Only 60 Euros - not expensive when it comes from the source. Of the 9 individual sites in the Produttori , Rabaja is generally agreed to be one of the best, if not the best. One of the 1001 wines and a great match with Roast Pork. — 7 years ago

Austin Hohnke
Puts on weight with air. Gobs of plum jam and cherry pie. Balanced and elegant even with the 15% alc. Blind tasters guessed Cerasuolo and Super Tuscan. — 5 years ago
