Remember to live it to its fullest!
This is a gorgeous example of a phenomenal Napa Cab!
Genevieve Bechtold runs this place. It wouldn’t be where it is without her. You better be nice to her when you see her or else you’ll get no wine & will have to deal with Desi & I!!!!!

Premiere Napa Valley auction lots wine is similar to Hospice de Braine wines are produced, these wines, ranging from as few as 60 bottles to maximum of 240 bottles, each created by the winemaker only once, are offered as futures at auction exclusively to restaurateurs, retailers and other members of the wine trade. This Saintsbury PN from Stanley Ranch has medium burgundy color, notes of raspberry, cranberry, cherry and cinnamon, medium to full body with refined firm tannin and lively acidity, long finish! — 9 years ago
Happy NYE! Loved it. — 9 years ago
Found another 2009, 100% Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Ovello Cru, a premiere site. Ruby with red Berry fruit, floral and flint aromas. On the palate, cherry, raspberry and ripe strawberry flavors with a touch of earthy floral tastes. Tannins are muted, balanced with acidity, well structured. Drinking great now, should last a few more years but why wait on this beauty? — 9 years ago

Absolute premiere Pritchard Hill fruit. I don’t like it...,.............I Love it! 🎤 @David L
😘.
Badass in a Glass to say the least. Jonathan is the coolest, most down to earth and Estate manager that you will ever meet. We tasted there this week as many of you know and his Hospitality is 2nd to None!!!! We arrived at 1pm and left at 5:30!!!!! The owner, Manuel, is badass to say the least. He came in at the beginning of our tasting, then 1/2 through and joined us for the remainder of the evening! Our dear friend, Veronica Pedro, with whom we hung out with for the week is from Portugal and so is Manuel! Salt of the Earth and as kind & hospitable as you can find anywhere in Napa. @Howard Greenfield Mr. Napa-> I’ve got to hook you up with them. They get it and aren’t afraid to show it! They have a Lineup which is insanely opulent. You would absolutely adore them. Their Chardonnay is insanely awesome. One of my favorites. It’s Opulent Melka at his best.
Forgive me., I’m rambling on reminiscing of our incredible time there.
Look them up if you haven’t had them. I swear by them and so will @Kirk Alexander
It was so good that we wanted to taste it AGAIN once we were home 😍😘😘😍.
Enjoying phenomenal wine with family is what it’s all about. Thank Gandona for the amazing experience ☝️
Nuf said!! 🙌👏👏👏🙌☝️☝️☝️

Smelled like raspberry lemonade. Taste of strawberry and citrus with a nice fruit depth to it unlike other rose. — 8 years ago
This was by far one of the best barrel samples I tasted all week. Could be the auction winner this year. Won't be bottled for more than another year, yet showed a purity and elegance you just wouldn't expect from a barrel sample. Bright red fruit offset by wet earth, new French oak, and a core of clean, bright acidity. Pretty damn gorgeous, even with an exhausted palate. This will be an amazing treat for one very fortunate bidder. — 9 years ago

Stunning Sparkling wine. — 12 years ago
In one word: excellent. This was enjoyed tonight on the eve of ID4. Not sure what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't this. I'm a fan of Pride, but I don't think I've ever had a wine from Pride quite like this. From Pride: "This year, I decided to pay homage to Brother and Sister Co-Owners Steve Pride and Suzanne Pride Bryan by drawing from the two vineyard blocks that produce our very best Cabernet Sauvignon, our Rock Arch vineyard, which forms the core of our Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and our Rim Rock vineyard, used for our uber-limited-production Vintner’s Select Cabernet Sauvignon. " And oh mama what a treat. This wine is blackberry, black cherry, sweeter cinnamon spice on the nose. The palate is black licorice, black cherry, ripe black fruits, hint of baking spice, grilled meat. The middle of this wine shows off the full bodied blackberry and aged black cherry core. Power and finesse together. Almost a sweeter middle that has you grabbing the bottle and verifying that this indeed is an 09. NO SIGN of decline. Finish with some acidity, but tannin has resolved and this wine is singing on the finish. I know I've had a wine with more expressive fruit, but I don't think I've ever had a wine that was so intricate yet powerful. Wow. — 7 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
I like it so much I had to try another bottle. Located in the heart of Sonoma, WALT sourcing Pinot Noir fruit from premiere appellations, this one from Shea Vineyard in Willamette Valley, Oregon. Deep Ruby, luscious bouquet of berry fruit with floral notes. On the palate fresh strawberry and cherry flavors with sweet spice & earthy black tea tones. Fine rich soft tannins, lingering finish bring forward fruit and mineral tones. A Wow wine! — 7 years ago
