Great rose value anytime with BBQ! We enjoyed it with the Virgillito’s on Memorial Day poolside and gave it top marks. — 8 years ago
Blind tasted. Nose is very tight; star fruit, green apple, hints of poolside vapors. First sip is intense, acidic and tight as well, a few chews revealing structure and contained complexity. A nice buttery and ripe fruit retro really shows the quality of the wine, in conclusion. Very hard to describe - a thinker - that's for sure. Still very young - a sleeper - that's no doubt, pleasure was partly intellectual. I'd recommend to carafe for half a day or to taste the bottle over a few days. Taste around 14 degrees. Poolside rosé for the win. This is a lovely selection with plenty of character, exhibiting nice notes of ripe strawberries and herbs on the nose with an almost ocean-mist smell to it, as well. On the palate it is smooth, soft, and buttery with a nice mouthfeel and notes of white peach, mild lychee and white flowers. — 9 years ago

Incredible value at around $15. Juicy ripe strawberries and spicy raspberry with vibrant acidity. I'm partial to the Loire, but this is truly a perfectly versatile wine you could sip poolside or serve with a wide range of cuisine. Try it with some pulled pork on a steamy summer day or a light summer salad with fresh chèvre. — 10 years ago
Smooth and silky, a lovely way to wind down a day spent poolside. — 10 years ago
Hotel Wailea poolside. Never fails! — 10 years ago
A wonderfully charming Côtes Catalanes rosé. Bone dry with a pale salmon hue, it tastes of grapefruit pith, gooseberry, kiwi, and white peach. An easy drinker, a total steal, and the perfect poolside sipper for the warm weather to come. Sourced from 80 year-old Grenache Gris vines, blended with Mourvèdre. — 8 years ago
Had this yesterday in Annapolis for $5 a glass as a special. Didn't expect much but was very pleasantly surprised! Looked it up it's $10 a bottle. If you can buy some for a poolside sipper!!😎 — 9 years ago
Nice crisp Pinot Grigio. Perfect poolside on a hot day. And what a nice name! — 9 years ago
A fun surprise. Ruby in color and just as bright and cutting. Definitely sharp in the nose and late palate, but not offensive. Clean, but somewhat thin. Served slightly chilled; if cold, could handle summer poolside duties. — 9 years ago
A perfect easy drinking bubbly that does not require food. Consumed 2 bottles poolside in Italy. — 10 years ago
Poolside, Meyer lemon, sweet cream, cut grass with a little oak peeking through on finish. — 10 years ago
Unique and intense, this stuff makes Rose interesting. Not your typical on trend bottle, it’s a dark rich pink with spicy tones and nice acid. While you certainly could enjoy this as your stereotypical poolside drink, it’s got enough structure and character to enjoy as your standalone evening glass of wine. — 8 years ago
Since today is International Sauvignon Blanc day, I decided to do a little experimenting of some similar TX SBs, courtesy of @Ron Yates . Ron is the president of Spicewood Vineyards and also has his own winery, Ron Yates.
To me, this is classic poolside/dead heat of summer white wine. Easy to sip on. Very lean and almost steely on the nose. Nice acidity throughout. White flowers, lime zest, and a lemon-tart finish. The finish is where this wine shines. — 8 years ago

No sleep for 42 hours because of work & drive to airport then no sleep on plane, so I was shot by the time we hit boat, ✈️ are full of germs, coughing up a lung whole time, at least it wasn't noro virus, yukJust what the Dr ordered for poolside Texas heat. Lightly effervescent and perfectly dry. Why didn't I buy fresh oysters today? — 10 years ago
