Very easy drinking red with subtle complexity and nice acidity. Cherry and dark fruits with a hint of chocolate. Nothing special on the nose but can drink it like juice. Would absolutely buy again, especially given the price. — 9 years ago

Retasting five months later. Melon and citrus notes in nose initially. Similar flavors plus orchard fruit and apricot in mouth, lemony finish. Creamy, nuanced, lovely flavor profile, balanced acidity. A tad more skin astringency intensity than I’d like at first, but much to admire here as the wine integrates over time. Also, this is a much better wine than communicated by its labeling, IMHO. — 6 years ago

Took one and a half hour to open to perfection. And perfection it was! The initial tight tannin structure opened up to layers of flavor of vibrant red and dark fruit, pie cherry, fig, hints of cinnamon, cedar and an earthy finish. — 7 years ago

Drinking the 2011 in 2017. BDeep color. Rich, sweet and peppery nose. Nice legs that linger on the glass. Smooth flavor, slightly sweet with berry, oak, and light pepper finish. Great summer wine. — 8 years ago
