Thanks to my brother for this. Held onto it for a while. It was terrific. Red- brown, syrupy cherry, tar, earth, and a touch of menthol. Tannins in control, good finish. Enjoyed it with some homemade pasta and bolognese. — 4 years ago

This is the Riserva! Despite the hype by the staff of K & L wines this is a reasonable Brunello but not a must have although at less than 30$ it is impressive. Turns already brown in color. Limited cherry notes green tea and quite spicy touch of 🍎 red apple. Quite soft. Day two. Changed my mind now the wine really shines. Touch of roses leather and black tea dried prune plums. — 7 years ago

I really enjoyed this!

Dark, thick wine where you can really taste the Syrah and tannins. Spicy and full of fruit. Paired very nice with prosciutto wrapped chicken. Definitely young with many years left in it! Not bad at the restaurant list price of £50. — 5 years ago
