This higher priced bottle at £40+ sure delivers an amazing wine that would be triple in St Emilion & made by the folks from Tertre Rôteboeuf & called “the junior Tertre Rôteboeuf“ 👍 Drinking great young but will improve 😉

Very warm nose of baking spices and wet stone. Great balance of dry/sweet, much more fruit than I expected from the blend breakdown. Tannins are firm but in line with the flavors of the wine. I would call it a Cask23 Junior Version. Lots of flavor and complexity with a much more affordable price tag. Another great wine from a great winery. — 10 years ago

2012 vintage. Cliff Edge is the junior sibling to "the Langi" which is the premium cuvée offered by Mount Langi Ghiran - the latter being one of my favourite Australian Shirazes.
