2014 vintage. More oak and body than initially suspected. Medium body (but heavy for Margaux). A little rambunctious (almost Napaesque) but delicious and fat now. Concentrated chocolate and plummy finish. — 8 years ago

Generally regarded as one of Australia's better Pinot Noirs on the basis of its perfumed nose and plummy medium bodied palate with lovely silky tannins. Could identify with @Ira Schwartz note recently of aromas of boot polish. I used to say varnish but I think we are on the same page. Great Pinot. — 9 years ago
Lovely Zin with plummy aftertaste. Very nice 2013 vintage — 10 years ago
Project of Jean Claude Berrouet who made 40+ vintages of Petrus. Really lovely nose. Classic right bank. Plummy. Cocoa. Focused. Palate is ripe with terrific acidity out of the gates and lovely balance. Intense structure. A bit out of sorts out of the bottle but it is all there. Will be fun to track. — 10 years ago
Plummy and jammy on the nose, and spicy on the pallette. Good tannins, and velvety smooth. Lingering finish of pepper and leather. Dark flavors but a light presence. Surprisingly light, for a red blend of Malbec, C/F and Merlot. — 8 years ago
Always ❤️ Pape C Graves & this £80 02 drinking lovely 👍 Has softened a lot in last 2yrs 😎

Very nice, if you're into the plummy / raisiny side of CDP. Lots of dark fruit, intensely aromatic with a port like nose. Long finish with integrated tannins. — 8 years ago
Soft plummy fruit, pastry notes, cappuccino and hints of milk chocolate. Although the structure of this wine is slightly firm and masculine, the fruit is ripe, plush and smooth as silk. In the back there are still some considerable tannines that need to be shed. Beautiful wine, though! — 9 years ago
Plummy and juicy. Very balanced! Great value — 9 years ago
dark, rich, plummy, peppery with bright, fresh herbs...a hint of eucalyptus and meat....lovely all around... — 10 years ago
This little number still has legs! Delicious, with nice plummy taste and still has some lovely tannins — 10 years ago
Wonderful full plummy nose with just hint of earth. Big and full bodied. Soft but full tannins with lots of dark fruits balanced by light earth tones. Long, full, supple finish with nice earth and acidity. — 11 years ago
Plush, velvety Merlot dominant blend, very easy to drink, still much primary plummy fruit, with some development (leather), moderate acidity and rather noticeable VA (why I didn’t rate it higher). — 7 years ago
Surprisingly youthful nose of luscious rich plummy baked dark red fruits and the most etheral sous bois and pipe tobacco I've ever smelled. The palate had poise and grace in its age, everything was in fantastic balance. The tannins are shockingly fine, adding the structure that is necessary to hold everything together. Simply superb. I can only hope I show as well as this when I'm nearly 65! — 8 years ago
A St Em I ❤️ & 06 @ £42 quite decent but not outstanding 😎

Great now but brilliant in a few more years 👍 — 8 years ago
Will improve with age but is delicious now. Somewhat grippy tannins but balanced worth acidity, alcohol, ripe plummy fruit, and delicious toasty vanilla and buttery notes making it a round, dense, and delightful wine I would buy confidently again. — 9 years ago
Very interesting wine showing black currants and red plummy fruits, mocha, cedar, fruit cake and a hint of vanilla. This is round, rich and has a creamy texture. — 10 years ago
Doing it easily at 14 years of age. Over riding descriptor is Plummy. Still firm tannins with some astringency. Drink remainder over next couple of years. — 10 years ago

Silky tannins and plummy fruit. Still fresh and alive at 20 — 7 years ago
