Delicious with pizza — 11 years ago
Delicious and funky. Co-fermentation gives it a lovely combined feeling with a delicious richness full mouth feel and lightly bitter critic acidity. I had it with a pork and it was 10/10 — 11 years ago

Trains wine! Raspberry followed by currant with a hint of spice. Clean smooth finish- paired with homemade pizza very well. — 13 years ago
2009 was better, but the 2010 is good as well. The port was excellent as well. — 14 years ago
This was our aperitif for Christmas dinner. Absolutely wonderful. And it makes a nice after dinner cocktail with a splash of Port. EDIT: And it made wonderful mimosas the next morning. — 10 years ago
This is crazy good. Strawberry preserves and apple butter on the nose, a refreshing burst of acidity up front and a butterscotch pudding finish that goes on forever. — 11 years ago
Pizza red blend. Great cheap Wednesday night wine! — 11 years ago
Lovely and smooth. Just had it with a spicy chorizo pizza watching The Island with Bear Grylls. Wine better than food and TV. 👍 — 11 years ago

Finally starting to mellow a bit. Lovely, and playing the role of a 20yr port this evening. — 12 years ago

Thank you Bill Steele for this gift. I am not an expert when it comes to Port. But this Texas Tawny was the perfect ending to a pizza/wine evening. It started a bit raisiny, but opened into a caramel syrup that lingered for minutes. Would be shocked if Delectable has this in their database. Only way to get it is by knowing Mr. Fuqua (a Dallas garage wine creator). Cheers! — 13 years ago

Just an incredible wine. Perfect with pizza but also a great red for just drinking. Need to get some more on our next visit. — 11 years ago
Sweet oak is seem less. Reasonably narrow on the palate. — 11 years ago

This starts out with a tight knit nose of red fruit, mint, and a hint of woodsmoke. Later, aromas intensified into darker red fruit. Flavors offer up dark reds, licorice, spice, silky tannin, and a spear of acidity. Paired awesome with tonite's pizza. One more bottle left but will need more for sure. — 12 years ago
Rich chocolate dessert wine. Underlying port is rich and fruit laden with a great chocolate flavoring. — 12 years ago
A nice Okanagan port. Sweet, but not overpowering, very nice for dessert after a nice seafood dinner. — 14 years ago

Wild. Unsure what exactly to expect since the reputation was "he did something to the wine". Barrel samples were off the hizzie, but the final product just seemed to skew so modern. And then a jillion years later.. it is still such.
Dark dark dark. Cherry cherry cherry. Opened rather nicely post decant. A multitide of flavors and aromas greeted us over the course of the next hour. Sweet, almost port like without the heat. Cool. @northforktable — 10 years ago
