Solid. Amazing texture, less powerful than I expected. — 10 years ago
San shi go in New Port with Andrew and will. One of the most enjoyable whites I've had. Great balance, complexity and oak integration — 10 years ago
Noticable SO2 similar German Rieslings for example jumps from the glass, then citrus-saline appears. Great tension, cut and length for this 1er. Next day more lemon verbena with some tropical notes; more weight. Aeration helps as PYCM bottles with lots of sulphur dioxide to protect the wine. — 10 years ago
Just yum - lemon curds, wet rocks, and juicy acidity wrapped in goodness. — 10 years ago
Killer! Walks a fine line of minerality and reduction while still balanced. Hazelnuts, toasty, Apple and citrus fruits. — 10 years ago
Being a huge PYCM fan that I am, this was the first "meh" bottle I've had. It was still Pierre-Yves with mouth-watering acidity, summer fruit aromas and all that — just a bit too toasty to my taste, a bit too much of pronounced oak. It lacked that masculine elegance that I'm after in PYCM wine, but still was delicious and lovely. — 10 years ago
2012 Vintage. As expected needs time or serious decanting. Very promising. — 10 years ago
Nose has a little burnt firecracker action but the palate is completely on time. Lemon rind and almost like a cheesecake situation. Finish just goes and goes. Gives a nod to every single tastebud. If I could afford it, I'd drink these wines like they are the cure. — 10 years ago
Chris Chiapparelli
Several times, killer always. Punching way about its weight for both price and appellation. — 9 years ago
