Brilliant ruby color. A bit tight out of the bottle, with barnyard aromas but after an hour+ of decanting, reveals lovely rose petal, oolong tea, raspberry, and mint aromas. — 7 years ago
As pure as it gets.
...dry with a ripe attack, bing cherry, soy, mint and Thai basil with crushed rose petal!

At first very delicate, almost like a rose petal fading away; at second, it gained some weight and grip; but at the finish, one of the most composed and confident NSG in my recent memory. Thanks #eliewineco — 9 years ago
2011 Pasquale Pelliserro "Bricco San Giuliano" Barbaresco - decant for 2 hours. Lean and elegant with dried rose petal, saddle, mineral and cherry skins with moderate tannins and great acid. Should be left alone for at least 4 years but I couldn't wait. Great vintage in Barbaresco, Hold it. — 9 years ago
Nice and clean, enjoying it with and without food. It has a touch of oak, which is very pleasant, and lends to the toasty vanilla notes that the label describes. On the first evening I opened it I tasted cherries and thought it was lovely and balanced. I also got the hints of florals that the label names "rose petal". However, on the third day, I struggle to detect the cherry and florals. But that doesn't come into play in its' score (I don't usually leave a wine bottle with wine in it for three days). Overall, I would like to have this wine in stock and at home, and I would recommend it to all my Pinot Noir enthusiasts. — 10 years ago
Tonight begins another weekend and we have to start it off right. I have heard so much about the Ruinart Rosé Champagne so I finally had to try it out. 55% Pinot Noir, 45%Chardonnay then there is 20-25% blended from the previous 2 years.
On the nose are loads of intense fresh red berries, ripe strawberries, fresh cherry, pomegranate, mint and rose petal floral notes.
On the palate is fresh effervescence of cherry, fresh strawberry, red currant, blood orange and lime.
This is a medium bodied wine with medium + acidity, clean, well blended and elegantly fresh. A beautiful enjoyable drinking champagne. Let's all have a great weekend and please be safe. Nostrovia! 🍾🍾🍾🍾 — 7 years ago
Still delicious
Black cherry, rose petal, silky texture, long layered finish (back label) — 9 years ago
2012 Matteo Correggia's 'Anthos' dry Brachetto, yum! A riper vintage but of such suppleness, lush rose petal & ripe juicy raspberry leaf. Dry, yet lovey. A #perfectpairing to pizza & rosemary flatbread. — 9 years ago
Light purple with hints of orange and brown. Medium-light body. Opened slightly tightly with notes of cola, earth, and bark. Some air (2 hours) revealed a rose-petal, cherry skin nose, and a lovely jammy palate. The medium to high acidity balances it very nicely. Some earth remained throughout. Very nice - recommended! — 10 years ago
Oxidative in the best way. Fun nose. — 10 years ago
Rose petal and floral nose. Wet earthy tones. Light mouth not as dense as expected medium finish. Very nice wine. — 7 years ago
A gorgeous, soft rose petal nose. Delicate, deep, pretty with hints of orange blossom, tea and all kinds of resolved cherry fruit. Light, but beautifully deep. There’s a plush, haunting quality to this wine but it is light, translucent and ethereal. This is exquisite. — 7 years ago
An overall translucent red with a broad crimson core extending to a thick ruby border with a thin orange brick rim. Medium plus intensity of aroma in the nose floral dominant and mineral driven (chalk). Rose petal, dried green herbs, tomato leaf. Subtle fruit aromas are ripe, red cherry candy, raspberry jam. Tactile sensations initially dominate the palate, high levels of acid and chalky astringency linger with medium plus alcohol 13.5%ABV but ultimate reveals a seductive mouth filling, medium finish featuring fresh red fruit perfume, ripe red cherry, basil, black pepper, and a touch of savory bacon, black olive, and wood smoke — 8 years ago
2005 vintage. Seductive nose, much lighter body in color and in the mouth, acidity higher. Tons of rose petal and tar. Finish was only weak point - thought it was a bit too tannic and spicy — 9 years ago
2005. Primal nose, very closed. Hints if rose petal, tar, cherry pit and loam. Reminds me of Chiavennasca grapes from Valtellina. — 10 years ago
Very smooth and silky now with red cherry fruit with exotic spices and dried rosé petal very exotic still has firm tannins notes of truffle and earth. Finish 50+ most excellent — 12 years ago

Always impressed how well these wines age. This was drinking well at 45 yrs showing red & black fruits with notes of cassis, cedar, leather, earth, licorice spice, tobacco & rose petal. — 5 years ago
