First, I’d like to thank @Severn Goodwin for this excellent example of Rosé in our bottle exchange.
The nose shows leaner, candied & floral fruits of; strawberries, watermelon, black cherries, raspberries, candied rhubarb, amazing powdery chalkiness, fine white to grey volcanics, sea spray with candied pink florals.
The palate is; round, lush, juicy and smartly balanced. Classic French Rosé. Ripe with high viscosity. Candied & floral fruits of; strawberries, watermelon, black cherries, raspberries, tangerine, candied rhubarb, amazing powdery chalkiness, white spice w/ a ginger lean, some of the very best fine white to grey volcanics I’ve had, sea spray with candied pink florals. The acidity is a cool, rushing river. The rich, elegant, well polished, lush finishes with excellent minerality that persists equally with lush fruitiness.

The San Pellegrino of wines? I love me some San Pelle so that’s complimentary. Massive, tart mineral streak right down the center. Tasty on a hot summer day with Thai inspired salad. — 8 years ago
Wow! Grassy on the nose, white nectarine and minerals, high acid. Delicious! — 9 years ago
My kind of easy-drinking wine! Very Beaujolais-like. Tart cranberry, rhubarb, pomegranate, and green strawberry on the nose and palate. Cinnamon and clove spice, Bulgarian rose, and vintage red lipstick. Light as air, with super bright, vibrant acidity, but surprisingly structured despite its ethereal character. Tastes like Thanksgiving. Absolutely delicious; would drink the whole bottle. Twice. — 6 years ago
Fantastic with our Tikka Masala. Nuanced with a lovely dryness but tastes honey in the mouth. Leaning towards an oxidized vibe. Into it — 6 years ago

Light golden hue. On the nose this is like spätlese or auslese riesling with combination of apples, lime, wet stone like minerality. Maybe some hints of ripe white currant. On the palate it has just a tick of residual sugar with high acidity keeping things almost austere before fading and giving the sweet fruit to take center stage. Hints of oak giving creamier mouth feel and light sensation of vanilla. Aftertaste turns bit tangy towards end before leaving with very pronounced granny smith apple taste that lingers on for almost a minute. This is very interesting combination where the nose suggest sweeter wine where as the palate is almost completely dry. Very food friendly and worked fabulously with our risotto that had grilled turkey breast, zucchini, herbs and blackhorn mushrooms — 6 years ago

Pretty funky. I appreciated this a lot more once I followed it up with a bottle of Chablis...and really missed the funky rough dimensions this one had. — 7 years ago
Gorgeous acid, lime, richness. Really nice. — 8 years ago

More depth than the Domaine Pelle ‘18 from the same appellation...black and red fruit, leather and potpourri, palate is sappy and mouth coating with ample tannins, but not heavy. Candidate for mid-term aging — 5 years ago
