A remarkable example of an aged RRV with a lovely depth and complexity. Having had the 2005 Hirsh, Peay and Keefer not together but recently. Keefer might be my favorite. — 11 years ago

Well 6 years does the trick. Still a surprising level of fruit but complexity has started to emerge. I think this can go another couple of years and hopefully will get better. DefinAtely not the elegance of Scallop Shelf. You wouldn't imagine this as anything but a CA Pinot which for me is a drawback. — 10 years ago
almost every wine, save those tainted w/TCA, from Steve Edmunds will be an intellectually and all together gratifying experience. Indonesian spice box, medium roasted yirgacheffe, and dried lavender blossoms strung along a tight, bright palate. more please. — 11 years ago
