"Les Chassignols" Moulin-à-Vent Gamay 2013

Another delicious Cru Beaujolais from Moulin-à-Vent produced by Pascal & Jean-Philippe Granger. Dark cherry, red berry fruit, violets, roses, exotic spices, gingerbread, leather, and granite. — 6 years ago

Aux Pierres Chénas Gamay 2015

Serious potential, if not as balanced or pretty as the 2014. Certainly more dense, inky and tannic than its predecessor. Showing vibrant sour cherry, raspberry, fresh cut purple flowers, spice cake, Asian spice and licorice. Tremendous mineral tension. Feels a bit extracted now but sure to be a winner. — 5 years ago

This producer makes killer Beaujolais. Had their M-a-V last month and it was ace.

@Jay Kline They are superb. Find their Juliénas Cuvée Spécial if you can. The 2014 is sublime.
