Decanted for 2 hours and it drank like a grassy Gamay with fantastic minerality. Outstanding red blend. — 9 years ago
Delicious! Even family members that don't normally like red wine loved this. — 10 years ago
In my pantheon of Amarone, this doesn't rate too highly. Dark ruby to purple in color, smoky sulfur nose absent much fruit, sweet attack (15% as evidenced by ample sheeting down the glass), subdued fruit is at dark plum/dark berry, medium grip, medium+ acid, slightly chewy, persistent finish. I expect a lot more from Amarone. Not a lot of complexity, depth, or richness. — 10 years ago

Got this long ago from Pantheon for a Thanksgiving dinner but did not drink it then. — 8 years ago
Excellent as always. Nice millesimes 2011. Enjoyed just in front of the Pantheon. — 10 years ago
Deliciously drinkable alone, I just keep forgetting that I drank it. It has structure; it just keeps falling anonymously in with the pantheon of other Pinot Noir's I have drunk recently. — 11 years ago
Great wine that we enjoyed sitting in front of the Pantheon in Rome! — 11 years ago

New Release showing very young and juicy. Will require lots of time in the cellar, so when you get it, bury it in the cellar for a decade plus...unless curiosity wins! Will join the pantheon of great vintages of Insignia. — 7 years ago
