Enjoyed with Korean flavored hangar steak and pork belly pancake. Loved the fruit forward balance. — 11 years ago
Alvear 1927 Solera Pedro Ximénez from Montilla-Moriles D.O. Tastes of liquefied apricot candy, pancake syrup. Fruity and highly alcoholic. Had this wine with churros dipped in Dulce de Leche. — 12 years ago

It's CA Pinot and Burgundy night! Sour/tart/dark cooked fruits. Dark cherries, ripe but tart raspberries, underripe blackberries/seeds, irony minerals, chalk, light black earth followed by wet pebbles with ripe black plum, dry fig and a blueberry pancake finish. An elegant bottling hand stamped from Queen of Burgundy. She even makes magic within their village level terroir. Trust the Winemaker!!! — 11 years ago
