The Bruery

Cuivre Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Ale

Annoyingly high 16.2% alcohol. Gets in the way of the otherwise pretty sumptuous dried fig, bourbon cherry, bittersweet chocolate. Oxidative, oloroso notes. — 9 years ago

Dorado Double Imperial IPA

Love this beer, it was first released only on draft years ago, then in Bombers, now in 12oz six packs( yes!!!) one of my favorite double IPA's , 10% AVB do not taste, but it is the hops, Crystal hops, less acidity, so it is less bitter, so smooth, but big and hoppy, with citrus and tropical notes, my kind of double IPA, "Sculpin" on crack, Outstanding!!! — 9 years ago

Vesper

McCormick Ranch Carignan 2012

This has got to be the most refreshing red wine I ever had...with jamet CdR trailing shortly behind. No minerals here for contemplation but lord am I high on acid right now! This one's all about the judicious decisions very obviously made by the winemaker here to extract intensely on what most would consider grapes just barely hitting ripeness. Clocking in at a whopping 12% alcohol I could drink this all day everyday. Ultra clean strawberry dark cherry lemonade this one. Highly pleasurable and highly unique. Ate it with just about everything in my pantry just for fun and all of it worked. Definite recommendation. Another one up for american winemakers 👍👌 — 9 years ago
