Fell in love with De Salis wine and this one is no exception. Still very young but drinking nicely. Had the pleasure of meeting the wine maker and his passion comes through in the wines. If you like this one try some of his others like the Pinot - unreal! — 9 years ago
Cellar for 6-8 years HA or drink it right away!!! — 10 years ago

Jauma Why Try So Hard skin fermented gewurz. Reminds me of mixing vodka and tropical fruit juice at parties in college... In the best sense possible. — 8 years ago
We are so pleased to welcome Horton Norton back to our table. This was a young, 2014 Norton, and given about 30 minutes to open up, it really was lovely. Fruit up front, gorgeous color, plum and tart cherry flavor. Wow. Was AMAZING with a beef and butternut squash stew. — 8 years ago
Perfect Cabernet. Entry level 2008 is drinking as well as anything in the land. Peerless at the price — 9 years ago

Great white pepper. Surprisingly light and fresh. Northern Rhone elements. Tasty! — 10 years ago
Tasted 2x over the past 2 wks with consistent notes: Almost sweetish fruit nicely balanced by acidity; Long, very slightly astringent finish. A **steal** @ $5.95, particularly since I suspect continued nice drinking into '18.

I didn't expect this much from a #bytheglass selection but it was everything and more. — 9 years ago
Light purple with hints of orange and brown. Medium-light body. Opened slightly tightly with notes of cola, earth, and bark. Some air (2 hours) revealed a rose-petal, cherry skin nose, and a lovely jammy palate. The medium to high acidity balances it very nicely. Some earth remained throughout. Very nice - recommended! — 9 years ago
Blackberry, cassis, currant, pepper, cranberry, sour cherry, oak and loamy earth. Good acidity and moderate tannins. — 9 years ago
