At peak but will remain here for many years to come, this great Clare Valley version offers ripe tangerine, orange and lime zest flavors to complement it's evolving petrol and spice additions, finishing dry, juicy and lively. — 11 years ago

Mountain Blue Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

‘96 bought through an auction. Always a gamble, but this was well stored. We used to buy this in our early poor days— 3 kids and one nominal salary. Nostalgic purchase that has held up remarkably well. Delicious! — 7 years ago

Les Champs de Cri Pouilly-Fumé Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Sensational and a great value for money. Deep notes of orange marmalade and preserved lemon with some elements of stone fruit go along with a deep sea mineral spine and a dark savory herb note. Hints of brioche and maybe chalk as well. Full flavored and viscous. A long finish. Great — 7 years ago

Tasted 2x over the past 2 wks with consistent notes: Almost sweetish fruit nicely balanced by acidity; Long, very slightly astringent finish. A **steal** @ $5.95, particularly since I suspect continued nice drinking into '18.

Domaine de la Côte

Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2012

Light purple with hints of orange and brown. Medium-light body. Opened slightly tightly with notes of cola, earth, and bark. Some air (2 hours) revealed a rose-petal, cherry skin nose, and a lovely jammy palate. The medium to high acidity balances it very nicely. Some earth remained throughout. Very nice - recommended! — 10 years ago

We are so pleased to welcome Horton Norton back to our table. This was a young, 2014 Norton, and given about 30 minutes to open up, it really was lovely. Fruit up front, gorgeous color, plum and tart cherry flavor. Wow. Was AMAZING with a beef and butternut squash stew. — 10 years ago
