Given for our 2015 birthdays from Sabine and Maarten with the 2005. Opened 1/2/2016 at kalaloch -did quasi vertical tasting. Nose: berry, smoke, nut, strawberry-rhubarb pie, vanilla. Taste: SPICY, dark cherry, wood smoke, pine. Very full but not a heavy finish. May be the smokey-est wine we have ever tasted. (Would be excellent with steak!) — 10 years ago

By far the best Malbec I've had. If you have to drink one this may be it. That being said Malbec belongs to beef and chimmichurri. This only had beef. — 10 years ago

Clear deep orange in the glass. Big bosomy nose of white flowers and candied orange peel. Full rich body with medium plus acidity. Lilies and orange peel lead on the palate. Medium finish with a hint of wet stone. Great on its own, but lives for food. — 9 years ago
