Crisp and not overly bitter. Easy to drink. — 6 years ago
75%merlot with cab sav, zin and Shiraz. Dark peppery fruit in the middle. Not your typical wimpy merlot. Soft finish with medium tannins. An Indiana find! — 7 years ago
Taste very sweet and delicate. Theres a word I want to use to describe it but cant put my finger on it. Its different than white or red wine, its sweet but strong - a good strong. — 7 years ago
Good flavor. — 7 years ago
Forever a favorite. Somehow they captured the essence of fresh fruit. You can almost feel the sunshine on your back as you sip, as if you're plucking blackberries off the cane yourself. — 8 years ago
ok fun fact i almost applied to work at this winery but i wasn’t 21 at the time so i stalked their web page and i fell in love with this wine and it actually tastes so so good i would 100% recommend this to everyone — 6 years ago

Perfect for sipping alone while reading my book. Love the sweet with hint of tart of the cherries! Always keep a bottle around. — 6 years ago
Mid crimson in colour. Nose of cherry and other red fruits. On the palate barely medium weight. More red fruits on the palate with a savoury twist. Fresh and juicy texture with supple fine Tannins. No need for further cellaring. 60% Nero d’Avola, 40% Frappato. Made for food. — 7 years ago
Big chocolate blackberry and licorice nose. Sweet tannins good grip and solid structure. Oak and cedar buoys juicy fruit with long finish. Almost Australian in style and structure very fruit forward. Fun. — 8 years ago
Tastes like Zebra Stripe gum — 8 years ago
Red fruit and jammish. Good body amd dryness. Slighy hint of Black pepper — 6 years ago
Nose has lightly oxidized yellow apple peel, wet seashells, freshly cut pear, light creamy oak, fresh lemon pith and light honey.
Palate has light salinity, lemon skin, honey on oak slab and under-ripe peach.
Beautiful wine, great (medium) acidity, yet still young. Likely this will benefit with another 4-6 years of rest. Oliver Lamy is one of the best Saint-Aubin producers, and this bottle is proof, chaotic vintage and still shining.
Decanted ~3hr. Easter 2019. — 6 years ago
Good chilled sweet wine. Pretty simple in flavor. — 7 years ago
My favorite wine! Sweet and smooth, reminds me of Welch’s grape juice — 7 years ago
In hills of Paso Robles, not far from Hearst castle, there is a man with a Homeric vision. His name is Daniel Daou and he is devoting his life to creating outstanding Cabernet’s. Deep red with complex dark berry nose, aged for 11 months on French oak (60% new). On the palate blackberry, tart cherry and a licorice twist, gentle background spice with savory fine tannins. Medium+ finish ending with cacao and earthy herbs. Great value. I also tried the Reserve which is something special. — 7 years ago
