Lovely aromatics, layers of citrus and pit fruit. Good acids frame this full bodied SB. — 9 years ago
One word. INSANE! I've heard all about Haber from @Shawn R and @Martin G Rivard and I'm more than pleased to say that their recommendations are totally spot on! Tonight was the Taste of Howell Mountain event in Dallas and the line-up was absurd. Aloft, Adamvs, Lamborn, Dunn, Outpost, O'Shaughnessy and many other rock stars. After tasting through many '13s and '14s, the '14 Haber Howell Mountain was the Wine of the night without a doubt. His '13 was great and when he said his '14 was excellent I thought it couldn't surpass it...it most definitely did. Buy this stuff up! The nose is out of this world...smoked meats, caramel, candied almonds. Jackpot! — 7 years ago
This is O'Shaughnessy estate's PNV wine. 5 cases made. Through a little misunderstanding by me and my buddy Ian I opened this way too early. But that's ok. Because it is opening nicely with air. This wine is all about hidden nuance. The wine is silk smooth and mellow but full of hidden potential. Awakening from the glass are notes of charred ember and cigar smoke with a palate full of meat drippings and sugar plums and cedar. Finish is mouth watering and clean and ends with strawberries and cream. — 8 years ago

I love the cabs Sean makes for O'shaughnessy so I was excited to try one of his Pinots. Everything I hoped for. Big and rich with the perfect amount of acidity. — 9 years ago
Wow! Made in a big style but not overripe or too extracted. Abundant red fruit gives way to secondary notes of licorice, leather and tobacco. Tannins are prominent but in check. Finish goes on and on. Happy to be a wine club member - O'Shaughnessy is an absolute gem if you love mountain fruit. — 9 years ago

20 years old and still going. This one is definitely not an 87 or 88. Upon the initial cork pop, this one is a 90 at the least. Given about 2 hours to breathe, this one easily ascends to a 93. Tre Colline currently is Howell Mountain property that is owned by O'Shaughnessy. Don't understand the 87 at all! This wine has a Blackberry kind of nose. Has a lot of herb and spice. The middle of this wine has great weight and density. This wine has not started to decline in any way. Is still holding strong through the middle. However, I do not expect this one to improve any more in the bottle. If you have this one, it is time to start drinking. Very nice finish of some pepper, still even a slight bit of tannin. However, this one has done a great job of integration. Is ready to go without a doubt! What a surprise from Beringer ... without much of a surprise here. Definitely a top producer in the Napa Valley. — 6 years ago
