I'm 30, this wine is 48! Can't believe it was still good. The cork pushed through into the bottle. Was pretty sure there was no way it would still be good at that point. Everyone agreed it was amazing. Had a wild and pungent aroma and super fruity taste. Cheers! — 11 years ago

2001 in Nov 2019 with old friends. Lovely full, deep texture, had it before a salmon dinner and really served as an appetizer, so complete and satisfying. Slight cinnamon with absolutely no edge. — 7 years ago

Had the tempranillo a few months ago, this time it’s the grenache. It’s still wickedly young but putting out loads of cherry and watermelon juiciness and then immediately takes a turn into that rocks district funk. Awesome wine with an awesome meal. After a sip, it's no surprise Monte Bello was sent for the Judgment of Paris. Perfectly balanced, slightly vegetal but not overly astringent. The only problem was the bottle--too small. — 10 years ago
