Day 3 in Napa in the books! Running a day behind on notes...Napa time runs slow AND fast!
Main reason we go out this time of year each year...the Flora Springs Trilogy Release Party! Very similar in style to their Rutherford Reserve Cab with more chocolate and roasted plum alongside red & black fruit. More plush than their other offerings. — 7 years ago
Started as 8.9 ended at 9. Needed the 10 years. Would like to try at 15 years — 8 years ago
A tannic monster. Figured a wine named "Wild Boar" is appropriate for Father's Day. This is so freaking dark in notes, but the color wouldn't allude to that. Color is red/purple and smells hot. Red licorice, peppercorn, anise on the nose. High tannins on the palate. Cedar, smoky, beef jerky notes to it. Spicy rhubarb too. If opening now, this needs at least a two hour decant. — 9 years ago

Somewhere between old and new world style, fruit and flowers and a good finish, excellent for $10 — 10 years ago
