Started as 8.9 ended at 9. Needed the 10 years. Would like to try at 15 years — 7 years ago
A tannic monster. Figured a wine named "Wild Boar" is appropriate for Father's Day. This is so freaking dark in notes, but the color wouldn't allude to that. Color is red/purple and smells hot. Red licorice, peppercorn, anise on the nose. High tannins on the palate. Cedar, smoky, beef jerky notes to it. Spicy rhubarb too. If opening now, this needs at least a two hour decant. — 8 years ago
Somewhere between old and new world style, fruit and flowers and a good finish, excellent for $10 — 9 years ago

Aromas of anise, leather and cedar. Loads of black fruit and firm tannins. Glad I have 4 more bottles of this. — 11 years ago

64% CS, 28% ME, & 8% CF. No Malbec as listed in the description. I’ve had this for awhile. Didn’t like the first bottle so I avoided trying again. When I did try again I was surprised how much it improved with some age. — 4 years ago

Wow. Pretty easily the best white wine that I've had (I've not had many).
Great nose. Some nice depth there, some kind of earthiness that I've never experienced w a white. Great, a little poopy, in a good way. Nice popping fruit, great acid.
Too hot, alcohol a bit high. Bit it a prob all a package deal. The fruit maybe wouldn't be as nice otherwise.
Medium bodied, nice & creamy, but not too heavy. The acidity keeps it fresh & light, I think.
Fun. I could drink this. — 11 years ago
The label is both pretty and evocative of this pretty and evocative wine that feels as though you've literally become the bottle's essence...like a love potion of petrichor and lover's spit HA ;). But really, smells like a field of freshly misted wildflowers beside a deep lake full of mystique, and a subtle kiss of honey that leaves hints of citrus on the lips. Beautifully balanced. Luxurious and sprightly. Alluring and innocent. — 4 years ago
Day 3 in Napa in the books! Running a day behind on notes...Napa time runs slow AND fast!
Main reason we go out this time of year each year...the Flora Springs Trilogy Release Party! Very similar in style to their Rutherford Reserve Cab with more chocolate and roasted plum alongside red & black fruit. More plush than their other offerings. — 6 years ago
Full flavored and easy on the palette! — 7 years ago
Pre-Release.
Deep and dark ruby red. Lovely and thick nose with dark cocoa, lots of bright red cherries, cinnamon and more baking spices. Heavy tannins (8/10) and drying. Lots of red berries, especially cherries on the palate. Some twigs and earthiness too. Long and lingering finish that needs some time. Little bit of heat in the finish. Drink till 2030. — 8 years ago

"Odedi"
It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a delicious Cabernet Franc from Napa Valley.
Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.
On the nose black plums, cooked cherries, black currants, cedar, licorice, vanilla, milk chocolates, coffee, black pepper, spices and light earth.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and nice legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, chocolates, light alcohol, sweet caramel and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a very tasty Cabernet Franc. Easy drinking and good as a sipping wine. Very chocolatey and so smooth and delicious.
Drinking very nicely already, although very young at this point. Would be nice to revisit this in 3 years, and will age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years.
Although it is dry, it has a sweet feel, like chocolate covered dried fruits, which makes it very pleasant and interesting.
Good right out of the bottle and much better after an hour in a decanter. Showing nice complexity with a nice, soft mouthfeel. Fruit forward and rich.
Will pair nicely with grilled meats. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses,
100% Cabernet Franc grapes were aged for 18 months in mostly French Oak barrels. A small production of only 250 cases.
14.2% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
