Quinta de Val Boa - Vinho Verde 2013 - One of my favorite and untypical Vinho Verde - small production by Jorge Albuquerque da Quinta, blend of Trajadura, Pederna and Azal they produce a range of three wines - this one is elegant intense , floral - minimum intervention in the winemaking - Dirk Niepoort is around 😀 — 10 years ago

2014 vintage - lots of lemon/lime and orange blossoms. Some light effervescence and good acidity. From the Basto region of Vinho Verde, for what it's worth Delectable. — 9 years ago

And earthy almost unbaked biscuits smell comes off of this wine. Very cool and smooth with muted tannins and flavors. Easy on the front of the tongue but with well structured fruit on the back. Not jammy, not overly ripe, earthy and smoky notes to it. Really fantastic wine for the price! — 7 years ago
