Excellent with the blackened shrimp Asiago Alfredo. Celebration after a day of hitting the big kid trails at Holiday Valley - with my instructor/hubby — 10 years ago
Light, crisp, Chardonnay blend. Very nice. Available through WineShop at Home. — 10 years ago
Nice crisp acidity. Tart and refreshing, doing it's job as a rose. — 11 years ago
Tasted in the cellar with Jay Boberg and winemaker, Tracy Kendall. I wish the wine had been just a few degrees warmer, even so, the nose is sumptuous and expressive. Black cherries and woodland trails followed by more ethereal notes of star anise, dried orange peel, and spice. What is most striking about this Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is the structure, it rolls out across the palate, with ultra-fine tannins, reminiscent of black tea and forest brambles. The interplay of tannins and acid in the 2014 are outstanding, its tight right now, and needs more time to express its full potential, evidence of Jean Nicolas Méo's deft touch. I have quite honestly never come across an Oregon Pinot Noir with this kind of structure, it's profound, one feels that the potential for aging is akin to those coveted Grand Crus in Burgundy. There is power here and incredible finesse. I can't wait to see how this Oregon wine and winery evolves. — 9 years ago
Earlier today we hiked 5 miles on some gorgeous mtn trails - it literally took my breath away. And right about now I am feelin the burn immensely, and I luvvvv it. It's Friday and it's fun, but something is missing....ah yes, Heidi Barrett and her elegant Revana Cab. I have appreciated her work for a while (Dalla Valle, Amuse Bouche, Screaming Eagle, should I keep going?) - and who doesn't respect someone who always tries their best to make it perfect (with 5 100pt wines to her name, ridiculous). This 2005 is drinking really nicely right now - a total fruitbomb. Lots of vanilla and cherry flavor. Sidenote: I have heard great things about later vintages too since TRB subsequently took over. #happyfriday #heidibarrett — 10 years ago
Second bottle of this we've had...#dailytable deal rosé
Juicy dry. Watermelon jolly rancher, herbal black pepper trails. — 10 years ago
Big kudos here, to the vintners, for providing just a little spice on the nose introducing flavors that present smoothly right after pulling the cork and results in big ole mouthful of jammy red fruit covering the entire palate with proper tannins and an easy finish resonating trails of what started as it drifts down one's throat. I found this, very affordable, yet right-on red wine at Promise Land Market (top-notch craft beer and wine bar that has become my fall hang while back home in Morehead City, NC; checkout the superb yet casual charcuterie). All a delight! (especially the people; come and see...) — 12 years ago

Getting hopped up! Another awesome Michigan IPA, and they donate some the proceeds go to help build and maintain recreational trails. — 10 years ago
Upfront fruit, bright red and dark fruit, kind of trails off after that. — 10 years ago

Like fading autumn, where the sun hangs low against a clear November sky, the 2013 Raptor Ridge Pinot Noir Barrel Select offers integrated, finely wrought aromas of red cherries and dried mushrooms, decomposing leaves, woodsy trails and campfire smoke. And yet, it's stunningly fresh on the palate, with vivid acidity lending tension to layers of red fruit and dulcet, savory tones underpinned by iron ore, brown spices and earthiness on the finish. 12.5% ABV | Sample — 10 years ago
White mushroom over humid, steamy, jungle underbrush. Grapefruit and lemon drop aromas. Delicate mousse that heralds a chalky wall of tangy lemon-limestone that trails off monumentally into the distance. Graceful, refined, and charming to its core. — 11 years ago
Sweeter Red — 12 years ago

Nice and fruity but not excessive. A bit peppery.
