This is Clos Pepe’s Dark Side bottling, which they only made a few times. What an excellent PN, loaded with dark cherries, other dark fruits and some cola. There was a little left in the decanter about an hour or so after dinner and the fruit was gone as well as the long sweet finish. I had opened and decanted it about an hour before dinner and maybe that was too much time but got through dinner fine. — 8 months ago

Ruby red color with aromas of dark berry fruits, cedar and spicy forest floor notes. On the palate flavors of raspberry, blackberry, and crushed red cherries with notes of cedar and baking spice, lively acidity, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy notes. Drinking well! Pair this with a pork roast or Salmon with a balsamic glaze. — 7 months ago
Light to medium garnet color, nose of red fruit and some oak (low). Fruit forward, red plum, strawberries & maybe raspberries. Low tannins, acidity, on the light to medium range. Fairly smooth- pairs well with spiced fish, chickens and veal. — 3 years ago

Still a good cab but not as good as previous vintages. A bit unfortunate, but this wine has gone full blown super market class. — 2 months ago
Dark purple in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fruity nose with lots of black fruits, cedar and chocolate notes.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with nice complexity.
Showing blackberries, cooked plums, cedar, tobacco, vanilla, dried fruits, light earth, barnyard, light vegetables, herbs, chocolates, espresso, cola and black pepper.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious Syrah from Edna Valley in California. Showing nice complexity and elegance, with a soft mouthfeel.
This Syrah from the great 2013 vintage is drinking beautifully now. A great sipping wine to have all by itself.
15.5% alcohol by volume.

Light and refreshing. Fruity flavors with slight vanilla undertones. Very crisp, but has a slight bite in the aftertaste. Would be great with mussels, crab, or a sharp cheese platter. — 9 years ago
