Medium ruby with quite a terracotta , garnet rim . Quite sweetly spiced nose , red cherries , cedar , dried spice and some strawberry coulis , earthy undertones . Pretty young and fruit forward at the moment . This is quite elegant and perfumed on the palate with lots of fresh red fruits , cedar and dried sage . Balanced acidity and ripe but slightly grippy tannins . This has good length and a saline finish . Medium ruby , slightly wider ruby, garnet rim . Slightly more closed and serious ,spiced cherries , menthol , liquorice and dried rosemary and thyme . On the palate this shows good red fruits , with raspberry , red cherry , spiced red plum , with dried herbs and a liquorice hint . Quite gritty tannins and fresh acidity , saline tinged finish of good length . This needs a little more time , better in 2-5 years and will show well a further 5 or so — 4 months ago

This was singing last night. Nice nose of mature cherries and spice box. Mid palate displays density and weight. Packed with ripe cherries and a hint of tobacco, complemented with a moderate tannin structure. Oak treatment was in the background. Finished with length and a hint of soft brown sugar. Acidity is still prominent so I assume you could continue to hold this for another 7 years with ease. — 8 months ago

scored a split on closeout and it was tasty! probably just starting its gentle decline w/some musty oxidative aromas, but it also had engaging smoke & spice, worn leather, sour cherry, red currant, hint of vanilla & cocoa, sweet soil and other earth driven elements. med bodied, well worn tannins and some acidity presented a fairly balanced palate. usually priced out of Brunello so this was a treat! — 3 months ago

We had the 2010 Vintage on 5/26-27/25. An excellent Brunello with tastes and scents of red cherry, leather, herbs and spice. Tannins all smoothed out. Medium bodied, Old World and well balanced. This got better with time. — 5 months ago
