Had it on 8/7/16 at Studio @ The Montage with the Provost's celebrating Jake's bday. It was BYOB. Had kept bottle home for years based on Sherry Lehman reco only to end up staying at Franc Mayne during recent trip to Saint-Emilion. Old juice, just as Tere loves them. — 8 years ago

Just like the In Memorium montage makes me weepy during an awards ceremony, this tribute wine brought tears to my eyes. It is delightful. — 9 years ago
Beautiful small production Grenache from the LA area. Cherries with medium body and weight. Fruit with acid. — 9 years ago

MP: @Studio Montage. A very unexpected find. If Pinot meunier is your thing, then this is the one for you. Pretty good bubble and is a tad heavy. Definitely take a chance on this one.
Jeets: dark and complex from what we normally drink yet extremely clean finish great bottle to end a night — 7 years ago
Beautiful montage of earth, dirt, brett, and musty, dusty tannins. Gorgeous, unapologetically funky Bordeaux. — 8 years ago
This guy is from the Vally de la Marne where Pinot Meunier is the primary grape. This region is west of the Montage de Reims region at about the same latitude.
85% Meunier
15% Noir
Four years sur lees.
Spiced tangerine and anise. Sweet butter and hazelnut. A touch of sourdough.
Just opened this, and it's drinking well. :)

I have had several $60-$75 Pinots and I found this wine to be a great alternative. Opens fast and has a great nose and finish. Had it with a Brown Butter Orecchiette pasta. Save your money and give this a try. — 6 years ago
