It's called "PREMIUM ESPECIAL" for a reason. — 8 years ago
This one has one of the best values among the under $20s. Medium bodied with savoury berry taste, I'm pleasantly surprised :) — 9 years ago
Had with pot Au ceu du furnas San Miguel Azores. Such a full bodied beautiful blend... not over powering ... the nose is as good as an Napa cult cab as Ive ever had! But the nature of this juice reveals in lovely gravelly fruit with a great backbone of soft tannins. One of my favorites. In a restaurant, we paid €32. Congrats and thanks to the Alentejo group for such a terrific and well priced wine! — 9 years ago
Dry and fruity, spicy finish. Let it air out for about an hour. — 9 years ago
Paired with a pork belly tasting at Aperi in San Miguel de Allende; soft tannin, sweet enough to work with salty pork. — 9 years ago
A new Mexican import, from a brewery in San Miguel de Allende Guanajuato just north of D.F. This Clara is in the Vienna lager style, similar to Bohemia or Negro Modelo. Well balanced, with Vienna and a touch of caramel malt leading the charge. ¡Bienvenidos! — 9 years ago

This is my favorite vineyard from Paso... Well, technically San Miguel which I actually prefer. More laid back vibes than Paso. This isn't dry, but isn't semi-sweet either. Dark, rich berries. Spiciness comes through towards the end with some chocolate. Great finish. Really, really good wine. Pair it with a salty dish and thank me later. — 9 years ago
Little more $ than the one "2006" but definitely worth it. — 8 years ago

This is a super, anise forward wine, with a deep leather finish. Something fun to drink with friends. — 9 years ago
this very drinkable rich bottle has been terrific with Azorean codfish baked in pasty with greens. Beautiful fruit with nice backbone ... also great with local fork bread fish. In San Miguel! — 9 years ago

2014, 750ml bottle. Big and bold full bodied. Excellent nose, dark ruby color, and delicious. This is bigger than the 2012 and 2013. Blind tasted three Zin’s from different wineries before deciding which one would go with our meal.. This was a 5 - 1 winner! Enjoyed with family and friends with four different pizzas from Jerry’s Morningside Pizza. Japes and Zota missed out...maybe next time. — 8 years ago
