A natural Gemischter Satz, with Grüner Veltliner, Riesling and a touch of Muskateller, 2 weeks skin contact and fermented in used wood.
This is very fresh, sappy and floral with fine white peach & apricot, grape, a touch of hay & summer meadow. Fine & quite filigrane on the palate, a slightly edgy, tannic background showcases the floral lightness and the juicy flow.
Unfiltered, slightly cloudy, delicious and highly drinkable.
A beautiful entrée to natural wine. — 4 years ago

Can you ever have too many Burgundies to taste? Wonderful trade tasting. The Gros Frere et soeur wines don’t get additional sulphur so they seem older and wilder than many of the wines at the tasting. The Vougeot has the stuffing to balance the wildness. — 5 years ago
Big words: best red wine PM has ever made. So joyous and energetic! The kind of wine that takes you out of conversation to remark on how delicious the wine tastes at every sip! Light sparkly texture is right up my alley personally. Lovely tart fruit and some forest notes. I would find it hard to grow tired of this wine, could drink a bottle every day. — 5 years ago
Ça commence à évoluer, ça sent la garrigue, très bien — 6 years ago
From a good looking bottle, decanted for 2 hrs. Dark scarlet, almost opaque. Awesome perfumed nose. Notes of red fruit, black cherries, Asian spice, some menthol and some moist dark soil. Silky in the mouth. After a few hours the aromatics quieted down. Better showing tonight than the last bottle in 2020. — 2 years ago
A huge Raspberry hit on the nose and fruity original to taste. Love this — 3 years ago
This wife likes it. She’s got the real French taste buds so I trust it’s a good one. — 5 years ago

Unbelievable!! — 2 years ago
A youthful nose of violets, faint smoke and spice. In the mouth the vintages’s telltale acidity is front and center and encase the red and dark fruit along with subtle earth notes. Tannins are there but unobtrusive. Plenty of current pleasure but certainly can be held — 3 years ago
I really love this wine, and bought several bottles after a SA wine tasting. Unfortunately I didn’t keep good notes, but I remember it being easy drinking and a good pairing with food or alone. — 5 years ago
Would have pegged this for Chardonnay. Still delicious. — 5 years ago
