From the apogee of my Parker score based collecting years. Ugh. Still heavy and a little over extracted, but not altogether bad and showing better with some air. Just lacks the complexity and aromatics that make some of these wines great - and albeit, I have not had a great CdP since 99 - I beg u who read this to show me one. Anyway. Color still inky. Nose still fruity (but not raisiny). I think the better part of this wines life in the rear view mirror. Drink up. — 8 years ago
Nama Junmai Ginjo Genshu.
Lots of aniseed and white pepper on the nose with pear, melon and nama-ka.
Flavors mirror the aromas, creamy, lively and vibrant.

Lovely full body tropical flavors kiwi, pineapple; ripe peach, and guava. Moderate oak finish rounds it out on an extended finish. Great choice for snacks while enjoying the view over Mirror Lake. — 10 years ago
I want to taste this in front of a mirror just to stare at my self — 10 years ago
2009 vintage Grivaut Meursault. Lemon curd, mushroom/cheesy/funk with a long aftertaste of sweet peach/vanilla/french oakiness. Great chardonnay for $28. An old world mirror image to Newton's unfiltered chard but with more funk and at half the price. — 11 years ago

Jimmy's section is named after one of the original harvesters that picked this same section of the vineyard every year. On the nose, nice rich dark fruits, black licorice, violets, lavender, blackberries, black plums, plums, dark cherries, deep spice presence, pepper, blackberries dark cherries, mocha and nutmeg. The palate fruits mirror the nose. Tarry notes, cinnamon, strong dry dark florals, leather, crushed rocks, dry stems, leather, medium plus tannins and long, rich, dark, tarry finish. Sells for around $30-$35. — 8 years ago
Comes out hot with cherry and something I can't quite nail down, maybe ripe nectarines or plum? Anyways, it is delicious and the flavors mirror the palate nicely. Katie "has had better" — 8 years ago
Sweetly yellow, kaleidoscopicly citrus, meant to be served on The Calypso before a dive in search of lost doubloons. Out of the corner of your eye, you see yourself in a mirror and think you're wearing a small black touque and a silver beard. — 9 years ago
Bursting with ripe fruit, cherry, blackberry, vanilla, and strawberry aromas. Flavors mirror the aroma with rich, thick, smooth juicy flavors on the palate. Very long smooth finish. An excellent $20 Shiraz. Tasted 2013 vintage in January 2016. — 9 years ago
Notes mirror the btl I had last year with a nose of black and red fruits, Dr Pepper, cedar, leather, earth and tobacco. Plum fruits and spice on the mouth, showing medium weight and length with supple tannins. — 10 years ago

amazing now. can't wait to see this in a year. — 11 years ago
The maybach wines mirror my high praise for Peter Michael. Both are at the top of my list of California wines. This isn't something you'd drink everyday unless you want to spoil yourself. It's special, & pairs well with a meal equatable to a full bodied Cab. — 11 years ago
A favorite every year. "Mirror of Truth" Region: Takehara, Hiroshima — 11 years ago
Deep garnet robe; truffle, mushroom, violets nose; bouche & nez mirror one another in refined, umami elegance with a satisfying finish. — 8 years ago
Cherries all over on the nose; dried, fresh, pie, you name it. Took a little while to open up but the aroma is really excellent. Fruit, acidity and tannins are all really in balance but would have loved the flavors to mirror the nose. Going to buy more to lay down for a few years — 8 years ago
This was a great surprise! Not familiar with Mirror and their St Helena winery, but after being introduced tonight, I need to learn more. For $70/bottle, after some time, the dark fruits and oak emphasis really became pronounced. Very nice! — 9 years ago
This is the '05 so-called "Blue Label" which isn't very blue, but I digress. I was a little rough on the last Lillian I opened, which I believe was the '06 regular bottling. It was a might underwhelming. This bottle has more highs than lows. Inky black color. Swirl the wine and you can't count the legs in the glass. Absolute knockout nose of licorice, spice and Dr Pepper. Best part of the experience for me. SO inviting. The downside is that the fruit is a little muted. Still some black fruit essence, however. And a bit hot on the finish. I guess I would still say it's best days are in the rear view mirror, but I'll hang on to a few to revisit somewhere down the road. Apologies to @Bill Bender for the absence of breasts in the photo. — 9 years ago
Loved the 2013. My favorite California attempt to mirror a Rhone blend. — 9 years ago
A mirror of its terroir, this Diamond Creek is multi-layered, super packed and multi dimensional. Still tight, it boasts lots of mature red fruit, borderline jammy but melted with a beautiful meaty, savory core. Powerful and intense, this is serious. I would have it with a short-rib and Angus Burger, truffle mayo and smoked provolone. — 10 years ago
Based on a quick taste after bottle open for a day: serious with present but nice tannins...a savory and full wine! Not as aromatic as I might have expected. Would mirror ratatouille wonderfully. — 10 years ago
Very pretty with cherry hard candy aromas and flavors. A straight-shooter, polished to a mirror shine. — 11 years ago
Just extraordinary!! Perfectly aged...drinked with a "Fiorentina!" A good mirror of GOOD southern frwnch wine!!! — 11 years ago
Dark and intense in color with a vibrant purple rim. Scents of black pepper, bell pepper, fresh pencil shavings, currant, dark sour fruits; plums an dark cherries. Flavors mirror the scent with black currant being in the forefront. Amply tannic, almost chewy and vibrant acidity. Well balanced and goes well with what all Argentinian wines go well with.......beef!!! — 12 years ago

The 15 vintage is still in barrel and will be for awhile longer. On the nose, bright, fragrant field of wild flowers, black licorice, cinnamon, vanilla, ruby fruits of; blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries, cherries, strawberries and dark loamy soils. On the palate; bright, fresh, ripe fruits that mirror the nose, nice deep spices, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, tobacco, graphite, soft leather, dry crushed rocks, edgy volcanic minerals and pronounced dusty/crumbly tannin structure. The long finish has beautiful ripe fruits with good structure, balance, acidity with a touch of strawberry cola. Photos are the other large old oak fermentation vats inside their estate and another perspective of their awesome terrace view. Notice on the label...no Merlot? The decided to rip up and replant their Merlot vines. — 8 years ago
