Mills and light with a funky awesome color. New favorite — 8 years ago
Two very different styles. The Mills was much more giving with spice box nose and sweet red fruit on the palate. The Reed had that classic Mt. Harlan nose and limestone minerality, but was very stem heavy throughout and much more acid. Always fun to try the different vineyards side by side. — 8 years ago
Mills vineyard in the Mt. Harlan AVA in San Benito County. Transparent ruby turning orange at the rim. Unmistakeably Pinot Noir in the nose (the French would say "ça pinote") with morello cherries and a subtle earthy spiciness that I associate with a very good Nuits-Saint-Georges. Gains complexity in the glass, very nice smell. Medium-bodied, very balanced with fruit, spices, and present, but well-tamed tannin, fine acidity, perfectly integrated oak and a long spicy finish. Great value too. Josh Jensen never lets you down!
Love the detailed information on the back label too. 2010 vintage, abv 13,8 %. 45 euro. — 9 years ago
Light fruity, nice with a meal or on its own — 7 years ago
Good classic Champagne taste. Pear and a bit of toast. Lots of fine bubbles. A bit foamy for my taste but well made and re freshingly crisp. — 8 years ago
Very light and fruity a good wine for a picnic or with a delicate fish or chicken dish.
Easy to drink on its own but think it could get sickly if you are more used to fully body or dry whites.
Ideally I would drink this if I was meeting friends for a casual catch up with nibbles or chilling outside on a sunny day. — 8 years ago
2016 syrah. Smooth, easy to drink, delicious — 8 years ago
Smooth, butter and cream. — 8 years ago
Super dry, you might even miss that it's Apple but that's okay. Half way into most ciders I'm over it, no such problem here. Which is good because it's comes in a 650mL bottle. — 8 years ago

***Super sweet, beautiful color. Local PA wine score! This is a lovely rose` wine which I located at Wegmans (grocery store) in Williamsport, PA in May of 2018. I have never seen this wine at any PA Wine & Spirits locations, so I was glad that I took a chance on this wine when I saw it! — 7 years ago
Very smooth. Had at Annie Gun's for Shawn's Mills job celebration. — 8 years ago
The Osteiner grape is a German grape variety created from crossing of Riesling and Silvaner. Despite its German roots, Rippon is perhaps the most notable producer of this variety. Nose of lemon, lime, ripe melon and white fresh florals. On the palate, fresh, clean, round and brilliant. Beautiful acidity, lemon, lime, melon, stone fruits, pear, fruit blossoms and citrus peel. Another photo of their amazing view and owner Jo Mills with my wife. Jo is such a great host with amazing passion and energy for making great wine. — 8 years ago
