One of the Best IPA's on the Planet gets brewed with Grapefruit Juice, and is Freakin Awesome, Outstanding, Southern CA offering only at this time, so hard to find if you are not here in Southern CA, This takes Sculpin and brings in up a notch or 2, So Great!!' — 11 years ago
Hoppy with a nice sweetness to counterbalance the edge. — 13 years ago
Very nice and well done IPA"s One of the best I have had this brewery, another great brewery out of San Diego, so many in such a small area — 13 years ago
The watermelon flavor is amazing - out of all fruit-flavored beers I've tried, this tastes the most like it should. More of a novelty beer than a session drink though. — 10 years ago
Initial taste felt sweet but then turned very complex and almost spicy. Had a little bit of a burn in the after taste. Very enjoyable. — 10 years ago
Super hops meets super stout. Very hoppy, chocolate, and hints of coffee. — 11 years ago
This beer makes me want to take an UberX in the middle of a weekday to the nearest liquor store in San Francisco and toss one of these back standing in the aisle gnoshing on a triple size Tabasco Slim Jim while the store owner screams at me to pay for it. I love the combination of a fully hopped IPA with a darker ale backbone. Truly a double but not overwhelming. Yet again, another killer IPA from San Diego. Quite possibly my absolute al time favorite. — 11 years ago

Top notch any times — 10 years ago
Not at the level of Nelson, but still one of the best "session" IPAs I've had. Grassy and herbal. — 11 years ago
Great IPA. Not overblown. Very smooth. — 11 years ago

Citrus, light biscuity malt. Noble hop flavors. Lingering soapiness and a bit of sour sauvignon blanc quality. Light body, dry (FG 1.006). Good, balanced, though not especially remarkable for me. — 11 years ago
Brown sugar, burnt around the edges. Mole; chocolate and peppers. Dried black fig. Aged quadrupel from one of the best. — 12 years ago
A complex unoaked blend from Maipu, Mendoza. Comprised of Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. The work of Angel Mendoza — 12 years ago
Nice IPA. Floral and peachy. Hint of pepper? — 13 years ago

A very good red IPA, complex hop profile, Nelson, Simcoe, Mosaic, 3 of my favorite hops, so I do really enjoy this because in fits my flavor hop profile, but being unbiased, it is very good in the style, for me it is excellent, might be too hoppy for some, great beer — 10 years ago
