Learning about Austrian wines. — 8 years ago
I don't know who would rate this 8.6, but this is one of the most important orange wines that is on the market today. This smells like a Turkish Delight. It is so powerfully delicate and nuanced. So much thoughtfulness in this wine. It's clearly made by someone who has a singular path. — 8 years ago
Crispy 🍑 with citruses, zesty & balanced entry level, which performed gratefully paired with home made Carsar's salat. — 8 years ago
100% Pinot Meunier from a small grower in Vallée de la Marne. Gold yellow colour. Bold, fruity and characterful. Crême brûlée and cling peach on the nose. Very distinctive on palate with strong brûlée and cling peach. Rounded with some good complexity. Low acidity with a substantial body. Short finish. Mind blowing value for such a characterful champagne. Delicious. — 9 years ago
Super rich and delicious Gruner — 10 years ago
Rene Bouvier is perhaps my favorite lesser known producer. I'm absolutely in love with his wines, be it a village Marsannay or an aged Grand Cru Échezeaux. And this bottle proves my love right — elegant, cherry pie infused young fruit, deliciously balanced even at this silly age. It's like a kid who can't lie yet — absolutely adorable and very fun to be around with. Please, please try it!
P.S. I am also very happy to be back from my horrible Southern Asia trip where people drink Jacobs Creek and honestly enjoy it. — 10 years ago

Was lucky to be invited by Raj and the Evening Land crew to dinner tonight to taste through some of the old wines side by side with the new releases. Before and after we tasted some of Raj and Sashi’s favorite wines and champagnes. This was one of the best wines I’ve ever tasted in my life. Completely transcendent, inspiring, one of a kind, amazing, perfect, fruit, acid, alcohol, tannin, structure, salinity, gorgeous. I can’t believe it, I’m never going to be happy with any bottle of wine I ever produce... — 7 years ago

Beautiful aromatics, slightly oxidized on the nose. Lovely sense of place — 9 years ago
Fantastic, acidity, fat, deep, pure. Just lovely! 💪🏼 — 9 years ago
With light freshness and subtle fragrance from early spring mowing, the wine lies on the tongue tip like a mild kitty. The long and lingering finish carries exceptional and totally unexpected tannins. Well worth it's price. — 11 years ago
And yes - those are latkas with that Riesling! — 11 years ago
Stoked to find 08 vtg of this at Drgrs in half btl. Love the weight, comexity and density it developed. Got to taste their more recent stuff the day prior at WS Top100. — 8 years ago

Mid Lemon in colour. Peachey flavours with a bitter finish. Full and luscious but finishes dry with 13.5% Alcohol. Nice to drink after the Grosset to compare. The following day honeyed notes. Delicious and uniquely European. — 7 years ago
