Colored raisin brown. Airy and tannin, not too bodiful. Worked well with my seafood dinner — 7 years ago
Rather dark pink. Herbs, red currant and some red gooseberry. Clean and good depth but lacking a bit focus. Hint of sweetnes on the end. — 8 years ago

On #ChardonnayDay (always the Thursday before Memorial Day!), I stumbled (literally!) across this lovely sample sent to me last fall. Estate grown and fermented and aged in stainless steel, this is a great example of unoaked chardonnay. Pale gold in the glass, it boasts aromas and flavors of juicy apples, pears, peaches, and citrus with mouthwatering acidity. Stoller was the first LEED® Gold certified winery in the world. 13.3% ABV. Screw cap closure. Winemaker: Melissa Burr. Wine Spectator 90 points and Tasting Panel 91 points, for those counting. The 2015 vintage is the current vintage. (sample) — 9 years ago
Really nice, hints of a Malbec? — 11 years ago
Un po' troppo giovane e alcolico,ma di grandi prospettive. All'inizio molto chiuso, poi esce la frutta rossa, molto persistente all'assaggio — 11 years ago

I really enjoyed this wine. It's both floral and earthy, not overpowering. Interesting find! — 7 years ago
Very drinkable. I spent a considerable time in Calabria near where this wine is produced. It is very typical for the region, soft but very flavorful. — 8 years ago

Enjoying this wine on Eataly's popup rooftop patio in Manhattan. Earthy, floral and incredibly smooth. Calabria huh? — 9 years ago
My first experience with Gaglioppo grapes. Awesome fruit. Mild taste. Prunes & plumes. Hints of tobacco. Off red in color; almost a brown. Well balanced. Long beautiful finish. Can't wait to explore more Calabrian wines! — 9 years ago
Similar to sherry but lighter. Lovely Italian dessert wine from the Calabrian region. — 10 years ago
New Calabrian producer! Very Nebbiolo like. Great dusty tannin on finish. Impressive for Southern Italy. — 11 years ago

Another great find. Fruit forward. Wet. Amazing little bottle. — 8 years ago
Apricots and almonds on the nose. Slight sweetness and solid acidity. This is my kind of Italian white! — 9 years ago
French oak. Smells like my grandma's toaster and she stuck a mixed berry Jane in and it was burnt. High acid, medium heavy body, bold oak that still gives you that kinda low sugar berry pie that's been in the oven for a bit longer than needed with muted fruit and a meatier kinda body. Fun wine. But get it with some food. — 9 years ago
Citrus and clean. Perfect with fish chowder and mussels. — 9 years ago
2011, approachable soft fruit with a Cabernet backbone. — 10 years ago

Peppery, herbal, big. Reminds of a good non Rhône Syrah. Exiting wine. Should improve over the years. — 7 years ago
