Out of magnum, he says this is the best bottle of wine he ever produced. Story goes that in a terrible vintage he did everything he could to produce a minimal amount of wine and it turned out to be about a ton or a ton and a half. Incredibly concentrated, no signs of under ripeness, this wine was a monster, a baby that kept evolving in the glass, it was actually too big for me and the medicine I’m taking. Instant headache just from tasting and spitting. Crazy powerful. Reminiscent of Australia without the herbs. Power with finesse. — 8 years ago
Just it's name #elixir then there's the #chartreuse factor. Just WOW! In France it's even sold in some pharmacies and I get that, but if this is medicine Mary Poppins, then give me more — 8 years ago
Had this at a lecture on ancient fermentation, props to Dogfish for trying this, its fruity, a little earthy, and very complex with a touch of cough medicine. — 9 years ago
Today I needed this beautiful Chardonnay, smacked myself in the face in the winery at work and broke my nose. The only answer was Windows Chardonnay. So beautiful, so nurturing and sold out. Medicine. — 9 years ago
Etna. Light fruit with a slight taste of medicine cabinet. Very good purchase for the price. — 10 years ago
A friends of mine @Alejandro Garcia said that I needed to do homework and practice makes perfect, so I am starting to work on trying different things. This wine was outstanding for a light lunch. Very jammy wine, easy to drink for anyone. Perfect for an easy evening of chatting. — 10 years ago
2011 Vintage, gorgeous fruit, afternoon medicine for a sad day.#keifeandco — 11 years ago

Golden colour.
Honey and medicine nose, smoky peat develops after a few minutes.
Sweet fruit then burn and a long smoky finish, needs a few drops of water.
Delicious and changes in the glass

Wheatgrass from Jugo Juice. Sleepy eucalyptus for the tired Koalas of this world. New age old age medicine. — 7 years ago
Buttery, candied grapefruit and pineapple, lemon marshmallow, aloe, beeswax candle, juniper berry and pine parchment aromatically. Fluff biscuit head that pontificated amidst perimeter chatter leaving scrawl and stalactites. Creamy with burnt points like baked Alaska. Yammy and browned with sugar before pulling apart to cola, egg cream and bitter chocolate with electric malt shadows. Gum Arabic and pine sap are just the catalysts to this green pinecone and sweet grass turned bitter almond, and oregano oil medicine rinse. Kicks out all the head fog that ails you, and replaces it with resin and tar. Sinus meds. #Lagunitas #hopstoopid #ale #ibu #ibuubme #102ibu4u #LagunitasBrewing #abv #beer #bitter #headmeds — 7 years ago
2012. Pop n pour the menthol smell was so strong and it tasted like medicine. 20 minutes later this girl was singing beautifully . So smooth . Structured and tons of flavor — 8 years ago
Gentle nose of black currant, leather, black tea, Chinese medicine herbs, vanilla, with hint of incense and tobacco leaf. Medium body. Vibrant palate with fresh acidity and additional taste of cherry and sweet spice. Mellow tannins.
It's mind boggling that this sells at Costco at $19.99. I don't know how C.V.N.E do it. I prefer this over the 09 Vina Real Grand Reserva. Maybe I should retaste the Vina Real. — 8 years ago

Murky deep garnet, rust, balsamic, herbal medicine, lavender, tobacco. — 10 years ago
Great when it's cold.... Really cold. If it is not cold it has the aftertaste of a child's cough medicine. — 11 years ago
My entire pantry of herbs and spices has just attacked all at once. I just let this liquid hit my mouth...a tiny taste right from the bottle...came with a whopping punch, an ak-47 going off in my mouth at extreme length. Sweet complex medicine. I am hostage to the mysteries of religious wars. — 11 years ago
I’m absolutely in love with these ‘05 Bordeaux’s!! 30 minutes open in the bottle was perfect, but it was probably fine if you PnP’d as it really faded over time. Dark purple color and insane nose of dark cherry, earth, and tar. Palate is dominated by more cherry, cough medicine, cinnamon, and tobacco. Awesome texture. Candy in a bottle! Solid finish. Paired nicely with bavette steak and coconut rice. I’m a buyer of more!! Would have scored higher if I didn’t drink over two hours. — 7 years ago
On the nose; perfumed, floral, spiced fruits of; blackberries, black raspberries, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries & hues of blue fruits. Dark, rich soils, anise and dark fresh foral bouquet. The body is M and the tannins M+. Spices flow before the wine reveals the ripe, fruits of; blackberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, strawberries and hues of blueberries. Loads of dark spices, dark chocolate, mocha powder, crushed rocks, dry stones, loamy soils, leather, dry brush and bright violets. The acidity is nice and the balanced finish is long, elegant and turns slightly dry on the very backend. Photos of; their signage as you approach, David March (Winemaker), a feather with hand painted artwork of their bottle in great detail and the pond on the front grounds. Producer history and notes...Garrison Creek Cellars is a project of Walla Walla natives Michael Murr and his childhood friend Dave March. While Michael Murr lives on the east coast, Dave March is both Winemaker and Winery Manager in Walla Walla. Garrison Creek Cellars has 300 acres situated along the Washington/Oregon border on the fringes of Walla Walla, but on the Washington side. David March (Winemaker) studied nuclear medicine and was a department head at the local hospital before joining the Garrison Creek Cellars partnership. Garrison Creek Cellars is a boutique winery making only about 1000 cases each year. They make; Malbec, Cabernet, Syrah, Tempranillo, Merlot and a little Zinfandel. Some of these are under 100 cases total production. Garrison Creek Cellars sits on the famous Les Collines vineyard. They sell about 97% of the fruit in their vineyard. They choose to keep their wines in small production and are also slow to arrive to market as they will not release anything before it's time...something I respect. When a winery releases their new reds, most are generally not ready to drink. They need to bottle age! Garrison Creek releases their wines when they are a little closer to being ready to drink when they arrive or are picked up. — 8 years ago
2015 - smells like medicine - light in color- delicious elegant silky mouthfeel floral . Tastes like silk sheets perfect mix of floral and fruit more on floral side — 9 years ago
Luigi Bosca in the City. Los Nobles Cabernet Bouchet shows incredible complexity, power and diversity. Black fruit confiture, oaky and pronounced medicine aromas, evaluating with time, chafes aromas for forest and mushrooms, opening up with a bit of fresh cherries and black spice... Complex. Definitely need one more bottle for further #degustation! — 9 years ago
Ok. This is interesting. The nose and the palate are almost identical. There is menthol and tobacco mixed with fruit.... And the finish...... The finish is like licking the bottom of the medicine cabinet, where the tube of neosporin was leaking..... But I mean that in a good way. This is an interesting wine. — 10 years ago
The most perfectly balance glass I've had in a long time. Just a little chilled it goes down like mineraly medicine. Just a tiny bit of fruit on the nose. — 10 years ago

Earthy aromas with a touch of iodine with medicinal/cough medicine type aromas. Pruney notes. None of this is a negative, in fact pretty typical Heathcote. Known as a home for full bodied Shiraz but this wine at 12 years with supple tannins and medium to full bodied is very drinkable for someone who is gravitating away from full throttle Shiraz. — 7 years ago
