Didn't quite live up to the hype, maybe needed more time in the crystal, but nice black cherry/plum and some licorice, tannins still hanging around, and at 14% legs like Elle McPherson. — 9 years ago
Yummy. heavy, spicy, and slightly sweet. — 9 years ago

On a journey through Aussie wine and thoroughly enjoying it! Young and bright, but definitely my jam. This one is from Victoria, which is new for me. It has the Smokey earthy qualities of Barossa, with brighter fruit and acid. The label is actually a great sum of the wine itself. Very colorful, graffiti like character, youthful, and full throttle. I'd like to come back to this one after it sits in the bottle a little and I think due to the alcohol it needs to decant an hour plus to let a little of the heat evaporate out, but this stuff otherwise was excellent. — 7 years ago
Great Rose! The Grenache makes it dry and not sweet like a typical Rose. Very enjoyable. — 8 years ago
Great Syrah and the first vintage for Bunnell. Big wine with deep dark colors and fruit. Went perfect with smoky Argentinian pork — 10 years ago
Our first bottle of 2013 McPhersion La Herencia. As good as the 2012 vintage. This is our go to ~$10 Texas wine. — 10 years ago

2012 McPherson Texas High Plains Roussanne. Aromatic and lush with notes of Asian pear, apricot skin, pineapple and honeysuckle blossom. Round and smooth texture. Quite good. #wine #texas #txwine #roussanne — 11 years ago

Was highly skeptical of trying a cheap Texas wine, but was pleasantly surprised. Albariño is one of my favorite white grape varietals, and after learning that Spanish and Portuguese grapes do particularly well in the Texas climate thought I’d give it a shot. Crisp, very refreshing, Happy 4th! — 7 years ago
