Villiera does a couple of things that can curl my toes. .. this is one superb example of a MCC that sends me into a drinking frenzy that usually ends with a call to the glass recycling guys to come and collect the empties. the only bad thing would be if you only by one bottle.... buy a case immediately. you will thank me later. — 10 years ago

1988 Sassicaia. First red of the night at Toscana w K and McC. Decanted for close to an hour before drinking and it was an awesome treat. We loved it. So smooth, some earth and fruit, but very measured. Balanced and lovely. — 10 years ago

1985 Domaine Ponsot Griotte-Chambertin w K and McC at Toscana. Wet cork and smelled dodgy at first. Two hours later, completely changed and opened up and became awesome. Super interesting to see how it changed. — 11 years ago
