Mad about you. Beautiful garnacha for a Sunday night. Dense, structured with succulent fruit and a long finish. — 8 years ago

Crisp start kind of like cranberry then a nice licorice oaken finish... Unique! — 10 years ago
Really nice. On first few sips it reminded me of a spicy, more tannic Beaujolais, but with air developed much more tobacco, cedar box, some dust, dried cherries, and a big bunch of herbs. Need to drink more of this. — 4 years ago
Cherry reduction and sautéed mushrooms over a fatty steak grilled on a wood plank. Big body but not too tannic and oh so drinkable. I can’t stop sniffing this wine. — 6 years ago
насыщенный цвет, темно-вишневый. в аромате фруктовая сладость, капля специй. Во вкусе много бочки - но танины сдержанные. немного не хватает фруктов. суховато. неплохо — 8 years ago

Viña Lanciano Reserva 2010, Single Vineyard. Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuela. Capa medio-alta, fruta presente (moras), especies (clavo) y taninos marcados. Magnífico, decantar y oxigenar una hora antes de servir. — 8 years ago
High quality modern style Rioja from baja fruit. 4 stage fruit selection from a girls blend of graciano, mazuela, Tempranillo, and garnacha. Pepper & spice nose. Dark purple color. Velvety smooth. Long sweet finish — 10 years ago
Garnet hue with medium-high saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, cherry, leather, licorice, oak, tar, toast, and vanilla. Medium body; heavy, firm tannins; and high acidity. Robust on the nose; while bold and smooth on the palate with a long-lasting finish. Made of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Mazuela (Carignan). — 4 years ago
A new Rioja for me I grabbed in Spain from @gabymeetswine @vilaviniteca @ €105 & whilst nice I think it’s overpriced as you get just as good quality in many £40-£50 Rioja but that said it’s nice 😉 & quite unusually earthy & mineral laden 😁 leave 5 years 👍
📍 Olivier Riviere Losares 2013 Rioja
🏵 92-93 points
🍇 Mazuela, Graciano & Tempranillo
🍷 Deep dark ruby
👃 Soggy earth, gravel, minerals & pencil lead through muted dark cherry w/ a light smokey soaked oak tone, red currant, balsamic & herbs then the oak really pushed through on steroids after a couple of hours
👄 Med body of red & dark cherry in balsamic w/ cocoa & minerals galore w/ a touch of blackberry
🎯 Med+ dry tannic red & dark cherry/berry cocoa mineral earthy linger w/ an okay follow through

Barcelona. Great wine from Catalan country. Deep red, smooth blend of Grenache, Mazuela & Cabernet. Again a great Spanish bargain. Great with any food but magnificent with sharp cheese. — 8 years ago
