A dark ruby color a nose of cherry's and currants. Sweet but not too cloying a good acidity for balance. It taste like a port I love it. It is the first dessert wine beside port that i like. — 6 years ago

M= 8.6. Both - smooth, dry, as remembered. A favorite. Not as good at 2012. — 8 years ago
2009. Light florals and spicy fruit on the nose. Bouquet of red fruits and pepper. Slightly spicy finish. Very well balanced. Full body. Sublime. — 8 years ago
Really interesting. Great food wine. Funk. Dirt road. Leather. — 8 years ago
Sweet yet smooth, this black laurel fortified wine is almost port like in its taste and strength. It is not necessary to save it for an after dinner treat though. Very well enjoyed on its own, even better with mellow cheese such as Gouda or a medium Cheddar — 7 years ago
This is a wine i really enjoy 🍷 — 8 years ago

Interesting. Like a Port but unlike any Port I've had. Chocolate but also a hint of dried apricot and maybe even mint and clove. Bouquet if rosemary and oregano, really. — 8 years ago
I must say this Greek red is turning me to try as many Greek wines as possible. Utterly beautiful and elegant, layers of fruit and spice. Pretty much perfection. — 3 years ago

Don’t recall if I tricked this back from Crete or no but whatever. It’s as easy drinking with smooth plum skin and cherry. Dry without being too sweet. Perfect with a Philly 7.10.87 — 5 years ago

Reminds me of Greek mavrodaphne without being sweet. Rich, dark, and smooth. — 8 years ago
Rich in color, aroma and body. 85% Refosco and 15% Mavrodaphne, aged in oak barrels. — 8 years ago

Smells like sweet roasted red bell peppers with ground meaty notes Pair with beef stuffer red bell peppers and onions or traditional Greek cuisine. Dolmas would be lovely for vegetarian fair. First Greek wine I truly enjoy! — 3 years ago
