More interesting than most other white wines in the region. I like the full body, buttery, diary, oaky dry flavor. Overcomes the high acidity. — 11 years ago

Very fruity and delicious. Not too heavy but definitely some body. — 6 years ago
Good, but not great. Yeasty. From Chelsea and Nehal. — 7 years ago
Mathieu has taken over winemaking and has done a fabulous job. This was all bright mid red fruits with some hues of blue and soft earthiness. Fresh & pure wire to to wire and a really nice pair with Hedy’s amazing spicy pumpkin soup. @ Plate & Bottle. Photos of, those old narly Gamay vines, Hedy’s spicy pumpkin soup, Mathieu barrel tasting and a little fireside bubbles & cheese before dinner. — 9 years ago

Great nose: raw dry-aged strip steak, crushed rocks, peppercorns, oozy dark berry sap. Dense and minerally, this is soft-textured but with loads of tannic scaffolding. Long, clingy, minerally finish. Because it’s from Corbieres, the acids are a bit lower than, say, a Northern Rhône Syrah, but other than that it would be a dead ringer for a Syrah from that region. Great value. — 9 years ago
Lovely bottle to celebrate last day of 2016! — 9 years ago

Light, spicy red paired with turkey — 10 years ago
Just beautiful. Must have time to open. Big for a Spanish red, very smooth. Lovely to drink, we drank it with lamb. — 11 years ago
The beginning of the New Years oyster feast. Lush and embracing. Those big bubbles turned into tight little orbs of deliciousness with a quickness! — 12 years ago
Pretty sleek, subtle example. But to be honest, I always expect Condrieu to be more flamboyant than it actually is. It's a caricature that I (wrongly) project upon the appellation... — 13 years ago

Had for G's 30th birthday celebration (a few days early) with Convivial takeout. Needed a little time to breathe; peppery at first but got fruitier with time. Delicious. ~$40 at Dvines. — 6 years ago
