Rich and has deepness. Bought at Mitsukoshi ¥2,300. — 10 years ago
Just plain drinkable with a lot of red fruit, pretty CF aromatics and just a touch of funky-earthiness. — 11 years ago
Superb cab franc from my favourite Bourgueil pruducer — 9 years ago
Everything in its right place. — 9 years ago
Stinky, reductive, needs lots of air & time to breath. Funky cab franc which many won't like. — 10 years ago
Lovely wine with velvety structure — 10 years ago
Very different style than nearly anything else coming out of Loire or all of France. There is a darkness and depth to the fruit with an almost volitile acidity that shares more in common with italian wines than Burgundy. Cinnamon spice shows through on this heavier, interesting pinot. 2013 Vintage. — 10 years ago
A great combination! Dittmers merguez, potato pancakes and roasted romanesco went with this olive and dark fruit Cab Franc perfectly. Why do we try and pair over ripe Rhone with merguez when we know that we don't like it? Let there be acid! — 10 years ago
Oh hells yeah...wet wool, lemon and vibrant acidity. — 11 years ago

At its best 72 hours after opening. I kid you not. — 10 years ago
Excellent! — 10 years ago
All st. Joseph elements in good balance here. Brand new black leather seats on the nose, juicy, bright, not blown out at all, a little bloody, a little mineral laiden. A sommeliers dream for a rack of lamb on the menu. With a nice salinity in the food this is heavenly. — 10 years ago

Great wine to pair with a multi-dish dinner. We had a mix of heavy and light dishes at the table and this held its ground for the beef and harmonized with the lighter means. — 9 years ago
